Have any folks gotten into the new BitInstant Beta? Things are looking promising with the new changes. The New BitInstantSeeing as it's in closed beta, would like to hear some thoughts on those that have gotten in. |

Hope they do some expansion outside US as well apart frm RUS. |

With features like ACH, Instant Debit Transfer, and etc., it's getting the best of all worlds. I know that people like the anonymity of cash deposits, bank wires, and money orders but the convenience of direct deposit really does appeal to the "casuals."

Article regarding Winklevoss investing the 1.3 million here. It looks like it. If you click on "Sell Bitcoins" and click the drop down, it does give you a small list of countries. |

If they can honor the prices of MtGox, convenience of Coinbase, the functionality of BIPS.me, and speed (before the crazy price variances and heavy traffic) of old BitInstant, we may have something special on our hands.. |

After playing with it for couple minutes, they have some interesting features set up for BitInstant Beta.
New Features
ACH (linking bank account) [Not working yet]
Debit Card Purchase [Not working yet]
"Instant Debit Transfer" (less than 24 hr ACH) [Not working yet]
Something "Interesting"
While signing up, it appears like they may be pulling credit history info (unconfirmed, don't panic!). I say this because they asked questions like:
1) Which of the following street addresses have you lived at before?
2) Do know any of the following individuals? (family member listed)
3) Have you ever had any of these telephone numbers before?
And so on, more to come...

Some interesting information.... I was able to get bitcoin to paypal in less than 30 minutes... but my paypal transaction wasn't handled by anything that looked even remotely like bitinstant. In fact, look here: https://i.imgur.com/fvKaguo.pngSomething fishy is going on... I don't think I'll be using bitinstant until I see more reasoning as to why this place is paying me when I pay bitinstant. Also, I somehow obtained an extra 21 cents (victory!) http://www.virwox.com/paypal has a big no-no to exchange type services, which I did not think bitinstant had portrayed itself to be. However since bitinstant is not the company that initiated this paypal transaction I'm not sure if they're liable if I get boned by virwox. |

As a worst case scenario, you could use paypal and use a debit card on paypal (which activates instantly) |
