Hoping for some growth, the value has been deceasing for the last month. On Poloniex, the loan rate(s) on XRP have been going up slightly so maybe we will get some additional volume for a nice a spike in the next few weeks.

It has a lot of volume for the price it's currently at. Even a little bit of a increase in price could give the coin the attention it needs to rally.

Ripple is convincing those that have good critical thinking, and the market for crypto is now including more mainstream developers that want to back the product of a solid company with a stack in its own digital currency. 

But there will always be those "get rich quick" traders that have no idea about the products they're trading, much like day traders on wall street not understanding the underlying companies whose stocks they buy.

It will for multiple reasons; you have to decide when a good entry point is, and how much, etc... Some believe it's going to encounter some interesting news soon, others believe it will rocket on the escrow lockup.  You be the judge. 

Personally, I'm waiting for Ripple to go public later this year or early next, or to be gobbled up by Google in a banking takeover.
