Just my speculation, Bitcoin recovers to nearly 4500 USD from a minor correction, but it could not pass 4500 USD, this is not a good sign. I guess that's because people are selling their alt coins for Bitcoin and finally for fiat - that causes a small raise for Bitcoin . BUT: weekend is coming, this is an appropriate time for a big correction.

Resistance at 4500.00. Alts may start to catch up.
I'm hoping that BTC keeps going past 5000.00 this weekend. I would like to see the alts fall some more before buying in again.

Bitcoin has try several times today to break the strong resistance at $4500 and I see that there is no strong momentum to break that level because of the activities of traders who only interest is to make profit. Many traders that are currently pumping bitcoin are going to sell of their position to take profit and that will force the price to actually make a correction as op has rightly said. I think correction is on the way to create momentum in other to break this wonderful level of $4500. |

Bitcoin is probably due for a correction though - nothing can go up indefinitely and it's had an incredible run since the fork. no? |

Correction? I cant see that theres already correction since those price decrease are just profit accumulating times and yes theres really a good resistance on 4500 price but it doesnt mean that it isnt good and yet bitcoin can anytime break that resistance depending if the community would decide to do such thing.When we are talking about price corrections maybe we would go on 2900-3200 price. |

I can't wait for a big crash. I think it will drop to $3000, pricing segwit should be required for sure but this is bubble.

Bitcoin can dip below $4000 again just like it did two days ago. It needs to go sideways this week to complete
a minor correction before attacking the $5000 level later this month or next.

Yes we're due for a correction but that massive spike we had earlier may have pushed it off for a little while. I was thinking we would see the start of a full correction earlier but with that large push I think BTC wants to test around 4700 before correcting. However the whole market is acting extremely strangely today and I have been eyeing a lot of action / inaction all around. Lots of alts moving in lock step together and ignoring BTC.. like I said, it has been weird.

I think Altcoins might increase in price. This increase can be very large. But I don't thing bitcoin price fall. The demand for bitcoin is so high and it will be high in coming days. I except that what happened in April - June will be repeated again. That time most of Altcoins increased in price very much.

As expected and I guess we are already in a correction, seeing it at $4,400 yesterday and now it was on $4,200. We will see some more decrease but not that too low as I'm thinking that $4,000 is our very own landing price which is good for all of the hodlers. Many are selling their alts and wanting to ride the bull run of bitcoin. |

I do not see any connection between bitcoin correction and weekend. Bitcoin trading does not close on any exchanges and on any date. It is always open. It can be corrected on any day of the week. The trend still remains for the past few days, support for 4000$ and resistance for 4400$. |
