Definitely, I am going to following you and this thread and learn about the developments. One quick questions, I did scan the wallet with virus total and I an alert stating "Malware.Heuristic!ET#97% (rdm+)" . Is this something to worry about? Please advise

Everyone is busy sending their details for the airdrop, did anyone scan the wallet file with virus scan? I did it and I got an alert stating "Malware.Heuristic!ET#97% (rdm+)". I posted about this few hours back but did not get any response from anyone.

I am not saying the wallet is infected or and should not be used. I am just looking for an answer as to why this alert would be trigerred. For the benefit of others can the admin of this thread post his views on the found malware alert? I have good amount of people who are just waiting for me to tell them what this alert is all about and once this is cleared, we all would jump right in to support the case of this project.

Heuristic hits are not necessarily malicious. It just means the program behaves in ways that are somewhat similar to how you expect malware to behave.
Happens with many wallets, and in some cases even the mining functionality is suspicious because many malware bots do stealth mining so they contain similar code.

When you have real malware, virustotal goes almost all red. There is no room for doubt.

Most wallets get false positives because of how they work. They connect to other wallets(=peers) and send and download data (=blockchain data). Some wallets contain mining code so that you can actually mine coins with it but that raises even more red flags with the virus scanners.
So, having only 1 positive is actually a good sign. It is still a good idea to install all these wallets inside a virtual machine so that your main OS won't be affected by anything malicious going on.
