A coin doesn't have to be new to be worth its weight in silver. I have probably 100 rounds I bough ton ebay alone for at or below spot. You just have to watch for them they aren't there nonstop, but they come in bulk when they are

Please show me a website that you can buy new silver rounds at spot. You made the claim and said I was spreading misinformation. Now you are telling me once in a while you can find someone on ebay that is willing to sell new rounds at spot? Link please.

Also, how many dealers in the world are going to accept Worldcoins for their silver? This is speculation and a risk on my part. I think most would agree.
http://www.providentmetals.com/bullion/silver/private-slv/1-ozt-rd.html?gclid=CKiqhrfQorcCFdKe4AodBDUAJw

There you go. $2.09 cash price over spot at their minimum quantity of 20 rounds. Plus shipping, and I'm not sure they are accepting WDC iGotSpots.

Also FYI, people have to buy min of 500 rounds to get the best prices over spot. But it's still over spot; not at.
we are not saying you charge a lot for usd   we say you pay little for wdc  if one converts  wdc to ltc than usd      he wil be ahead
going rate is 2.5 ltc to 100 wdc and you are with shipping of course  estimated 86 wdc ler ltc = 1.2 per 100 wdc

In my personnal case if I where to order from amagi, i would pay 198$ with shipping for 5 buffalo @ 3$/ltc it's 66 ltc
here i would pay 2625 WDC if I where to sell them for litecoin 2.5/100 and then buy silver it would give me 65.625ltc..
But in any case it would cost me way less to directly buy to a higher spot price in france, because of the huge shipping cost in both case..

this looks attractive, but 30 days shipping holds me back a little. Why need that much time? they need to mint the coin?

Silver was $35 just a few months ago, and since it went way down to $22 there has been a buying frenzy. So there is a 21 day delay pretty much everywhere where premiums are low.
Dealers are back ordered from the mints. Even the US government Mint stopped selling momentarily in the 3rd week of April. Resumed now, but back ordered.

And yes, Silver can be very attractive  Cheesy

Very interesting, I'm thinking about buying a few of these with WDC. SIlver will keep its value, but i hope WDC will increase also.

+1

Silver may get manipulated a bit more this summer, but it will quadruple or more soon. Economies looking bleak and silver/gold are where prople run to when they get scared. Gold is the fear metal  Wink

Have you looked into the cost for custom silver coins?

I've looked into custom dies. Cheap artwork overseas is around $3,000.
Then you need a deal with a mint and usually need a minimum order of 5000 or so ($125,000). I'm not some big dealer, so kinda out of my range.
But I'm sure there are cheaper options out there.

Would be nice to research this more for a custom WDC coin later on.

Wish this forum had enough traffic to support that. I'd buy a Litecoin logo round for $3 over spot, and a 1/10 BTC in gold.

You can most certainly get Silver at spot prices online all day every day. I have literally 1000 ounces of the shit that I've bought in the last year all online...ebay alone was half of my purchasing

Don't get me wrong, I think coins -> metals is the future, I even had a post about it a few days ago. I'm just saying, don't spread misinformation

Id like to see a retailer or wholesaler where I can purchase silver coins at spot price. I will make it my new place to buy. If you have any available sites that you purchase from please post it or PM me or both (since I rarely go back and check thread I post in)

I buy the green "monster" boxes from the mint all the time and I have never gotten silver coins at the troy ounce market spot price. One time I was able to buy below spot but it was a private sale (pre-estate sale) and I purchased just over 700 coins in total and paid cash. That was also before the 2008 crash (before people got worried again)

Unfortunately, you'll never hear from him. He couldn't produce dealers for me either since they don't exist.
And to compare new minted silver bullion to old mystery coins on ebay is like a used car salesmen trying to heckle a dealership that you can buy a car for so much less than retail. Apples and oranges my friend Wink

I will be adding more options soon, but generally sticking with Silver "Rounds" or ingots.
Maple Leaves are considered government fiat and might be in a realm I am not familiar with, since I am not an exchange.

They are pretty though  Smiley
