Hello Everyone,

I was just wondering if there is a way to mine bitcoin cash or do you just connect to the same server as bitcoin. I am mining ETH and a few other currency's right now but not bitcoin would like to get into mining bitcoin as well as bitcoin cash (if that is possible)?

Thanks in Advance.

Hi @adamantasaurus ,

if you are mining ETH and  other coins, I guess you are using GPUs for it,
which are not profitable for bitcoin mining.

If you have a bitcoin (SHA256) asic, like e.g. an Antminer S3/S5/S7/S9
you can point it to a Bitcoin Cash (BCC/BCH) mining pool,
e.g. at bitcoin.com or viabtc.com

I guess we will see more Bitcoin Cash pools in the near future,
as the difficulty adjusts in about 3 days.

You should also have a Bitcoin Cash wallet (or a bitcoin.abc node),
because it´s a little unsafe to mine into an exchange wallet.

... please make an educated guess !

Yea that was going to be my next question I have a trezor but the bitcoincash wallet is in beta still and I looked online for a desktop wallet but couldn't find one is there a wallet you suggest? and what is a bitcoin.abc node?

Yes I do have gpu's but plan on getting a couple s9's in the future.
