Hi everyone,

It's been 7 days since i last saw my 41 litecoins on my Coinomi wallet.

I already contacted Coinomi, which then redirected me to Shapeshifter support which then redirected me back to Coinomi and never heard anything from Coinomi ever since and the ticket was closed, even before i replied back or anything (Coinomi support ticket).

So what happened? It was around last friday and i decided to exchange my litecoins to ethereum using the Coinomi exchange (Shapeshifter exchange integrated), which i did so normally like i did other times. Then, after a few hours i would refresh my balance and it would randomly show my 41 litecoins, which was weird but led me to think that the transaction had failed so i redid the transaction multiple times because it kept happening. In the end i did like 3-4 transactions, all with the same coins.

All those transactions are still pending! They show under balance as greyed out, it's been 7 days and my balance is still 0.0 Litecoins.

Sometimes when i refresh it shows my 41 litecoins but then it disappears right away. Where are my litecoins?

Shapeshifter support said that the transaction IDs cannot be found on the block chain explorer which means the problem is on Coinomi's side.

Imagine if it happens to someone with a large amount of investment?

DO NOT USE COINOMI!! It's not Safe!!

You are talking about the transaction in orange? the grayed one seem to be the one unconfirmed, but in the same time, If you only have 41 LTC, Its not impossible to make three transactions, have you checked the addresses the funds were sent to? to see If they actually received something? If this doesn't get resolved, you may want to open a scam accusation against them. I knew that making the project closed source will make things less transparent.

I'm talking about the greyed out ones. They have been unconfirmed for 7 days. I already checked if any of the addresses got any coins and they didn't.

I think the app itself detects that there is a pending transaction so it hides my litecoins but since the transactions are stuck, i can't get them back. I'm guessing they could fix this by deleting the transactions from their backend but they don't reply to my support ticket anymore.

How do i open a scam accusation?

Well, you had the funds on a specific address before sending it, have you checked that address (sending address) too? to see where the funds actually disappeared? You can open a scam accusation by making a thread on this section using the proper format but I suggest leaving that option as the last resort, they may answer you.

How do i see what address did i send it from? On the transactions it only shows to which address i sent to, not my address.

It looks like the problem is that your local wallet has the 3 unconfirmed transactions in it's history, but the actual Litecoin network has no knowledge of these transactions.

As far as I'm aware, Coinomi doesn't have a full rescan option... so if the "refresh" isn't working, you might need to restore your wallet from seed.

Make a backup of everything first and then restore using your seed. That should force it to recreate your wallet and then rescan the various blockchains for your transactions. As these transactions don't exist anywhere on the LTC network (have you looked at transaction details and confirmed the TXIDs aren't on any litecoin block explorers?)... they should not appear after the wallet is regenerated, so your 41 ltc balance should be "restored".

Just make sure you have double (or triple) checked that you have everything safely backed up before you start Wink

This is not the first time a failed/stuck exchange has a user screaming "unsafe".

The conclusion is typically false.

ALL stuck or failed exchanges are always promptly refunded or pushed by our partner instant exchanges, Shapeshift and Changelly.

Consult the following article: https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000009723-how-to-failed-pending-exchanges

We would appreciate if you paste the Ticket ID here or contact me personally on TG @angelos_coinomi

We will do our best to expedite your exchange with our partner.

Thank you.

You said that you are from Coinomi. I understand that you want to resolve all Coinomi problems posted here in the forum, but it would be better if you just respond to the recent posts (within this month or year at least). This post was made last 2017 if you didn't notice it. I believe the user contacted the support, this case may have been solved already, though the OP didn't update here.

Please always check the date:

I think old issues was completely solved.

I am using Coinomi wallet and until now never had any bad experience yet. So, I think the OP problem can be solved soon as he knows how to use the resync feature of Coinomi wallet. I experienced the same thing before if you can follow the guide from @HCP it should be work or simply use the resynchronize button, you can find this button at the right top of the screen the button looks 3 dots just touch it and you will find the resynchronize button.

Also, make sure that the Coinomi wallet is updated to the latest version before you follow the guides above.
