The issues of today you may notice while watching news that connecting to public wifi is dangerous so what do you think?why do hackers do this kinds of things?

Hacking is a casual hobby for some hackers, they want to see whether they can or can't break into, usually testing their own systems. Some of them have criminal intentions. From the other side, there also can be a connection to political authorities that use hacking technique as a tool of control.

I think these kind of hackers do it to exploit your credit cards or social media accounts for their own needs . But not all hacker do bad things theres different kinds of hacker .

1. White hat hacker - or sometimes called yhe good hackers they'll help you remove virus or pentest the security of some company.

2. Black hat hacker - this kind of hacker is
 usually can be find on news this one steals your money on your bank account or hacking your social media.

3. Red hat hacker - the one who halt the doing of black hat hacker.


Remember be responsible on your account and dont always connect on free access wifi.

Yes, free wifi is quite dangerous to use. It is easy, with tools like wireshark, to monitor all the traffic the wifi connection have and then analyze for criminal purposes. Better to avoid to connect to public wifi!

If they can do some things and hack governments sites they are clearly smart enough to have money and work for government. Maybe they only want a justice.

I guess the question were already answered, personally I'll take only 2 reasons. first is a 'hobby' and the rest is because they want some specific data or 'Money"

There are many reasons as to why a hacker hack. Its pretty much the same as asking why there are thief/robberies.

To answer the question, here's some the possible reasons:

- to test their skills. Computer geeks likes to test their skills by breaking through the target site's security

- achievement/recognition - some people hack to gain attention and to show the world what they can do

- to earn. Some hackers do it as a living. Several companies hire what hat hackers to hack their system and test their security. While some prefer to do it in the illegal way -black hat hackers - stealing bank accounts

Lastly, some do it because of the thrill. Diving into something that not everyone can get into and enjoy.

I've seen a lot of prank hacking on YT, when people take over their neighbor's computers through wifi and change their playlists or shut them down when they're too loud.
Hacking isn't a bad thing, as long as they aren't doing serious damage. If you get prank hacked it should be a wake up call to upgrade your security. Would you rather someone got in and gained access to your bank account or crypto wallet?

Now i doubt that hacking can be termed as a hobby now, people are just interested in making money and that's the only thing, take a look at the HBO hacking for instance, they wanted them to pay a ransom or risk unveiling all their stolen data. which they didn't do.

To live too bad. You can die from it. You propose to live? Our whole life consists of dangers and challenges. This should always be prepared. If you will be able to monitor the safety then the hackers will not find anything that they need.

I don't mind hackers, they are doing what they're good at. Why? Do you ask a politician why he chooses to lie instead of telling the truth? Because he's good at it, he likes it, he finds it's a good way to make money, there are many reasons. If you leave your door open somebody will grab the opportunity and steal from you. It's the same with computers. Hackers are just opportunists waiting for irresponsible people with no security.

not all IT hacks , but most of them are hackers , i think they hacked because they want to know who they are and what they are capable of , there are many hackers all around the world and i heard news what hackers do , sometimes they hack because they want money , money from their own government or country that havr been corrupted by their officials , there are good hackers and bad hackers , the white hat hackers , and the black hat hackers ,.

Hackers likes to penetrate something for the thrill and sometimes the money but most of it is for the thrill from conquering something that was supposed to be secure. In order to spread the news that "No system is safe" and it is acalso kind to wake up the people from connecting to public wifi cause it might steal all their personal information, data in social media and even bank acounts, credit card number. So that's why dont be tempted by this free public wifi cause it's really bad news.

They want to become powerful, they want to hack any system to get information that they are needed to someone so they can request for a ransom money for the user of what they hack to protect their privacy, they want everything should be with them they think that they can do everything they want.

I think that is exactly right. The thrill drives a lot of things, including hacking.
There is a great satisfaction in bypassing / shortcutting / penetrating a system that is supposed to be secure, only for that sake knowing that you can.

Because they are caapable of doing it. Some IT are hacking just to test there capabilities, while most of them are doing it for money. There are also some hackers-on-purpose, you know, just like the little red riding hood.

I think they first do that thing for fun, as time goes on it become hobby, then soon they found out there are plenty of ways some can earn if they know info on someone, blackmailing so on. Big hackers target companies and someone rich because everbody know information on that someone can have very huge amount.
