The style of the site is in Nintendo..  but the theme should be colosseum, gladiators, chariots etc.

Seems like a very long lasting kinda deal here, plenty of time for awesome logos to be uploaded.
I have prepared a little preview, nintendo logo inspired with BTCario

It is available in full size(1400x600), with transparent background and separate layers.
I can still make some minor adjustments.

Yes when I come across one I really like I choose that one. My problem is that I need examples to know what I like Because I'm not sure at the moment.

gives all participants an equal time frame to
create and submit their entry, by closing it earlier

After seeing the massive amount of interest. I decided to shorten the period to 01-09-2017.
