If i had to guess i'd say it would either decline or grow very slowly, up to the point i'd rather invest or diversify my portfolio with another coin - something more 'stable' in cryptocurrencies standards like monero and litecoin. ETC has been losing market cap nonstop if you check on CNC, definitely not a good sign for the future...

The most probable thing that happened to ETC will be to gain very little and very slowly. There are some downs along the way as expected. It will not be wise to bank a huge investment on it. But if you put LTC on its place, the same thing. LTC is also crawling very slowly, if at all. Monero is much better.

I think maybe you have mistaken, this thread talking about Ethereum Classic, not is Ethereum. So the price of Ethereum Classic will not happening like Ethereum as your said. Don't think if Ethereum growth, Ethereum Classic will growth too.

ETC looks like holding high price atm (in terms of btc) and it has no reason to go higher till the levels you are expecting, unless some whales go mad over it and pump it 5 - 10 folds just like they are doing with other alt coins as you can already notice over Bittrex. You should exit ETC atm and try out some different coins that are still cheap over the markets and can be pumped anytime soon.

I'm partially agree that  can not be assumed at all that if  Ethereum growth,Ethereum Classic will growth too,
but somehow there is more chance to this happen such as has been seen in the past.

As you all know, poloniex had some server issues after btc-e crysis and this made lots of traders quit poloniex. ETC volume was mainly coming from poloniex. So, etc was affecred negatively after the poloniex issues.

I think 6 months later, Ethereum (ETH) will exceed 1,000$. Previously, the price of Ethereum was already 400 dollars. It will also exceed this level and will exceed 1000 dollars as I said.

You just made another joke, and you can try to take the bitcoin chart and try to see what is the price of bitcoin at the team of ethereum classic already in its ATH. And the rate of the dollars already gets an impact to the bitcoin price right now. For me the price of ETC everytime just a penny and never worth a lot of money. Because it was a fork coin.

I dont really think this coin would rise in the future, this is the result of the ethereum fork, and the only thing that makes it special is the name, ethereum classic. that is why most people are hyping about it and thinking that it could have a similiar price than the real ethereum.
it has been between 14 and 16 bucks for more than three months, i dont expect a rise in the next months.

You're right to say this. Also, all is needed is a catalyst for the market to realize the value of immutability. ETC could stay low for a while, but it will rocket without a moment's notice due to the market's blind eye. I also bet most of the naysayers on this thread have this concern in the back of their mind and don't want to miss out.

Ethereum is up more than 3,000% since 8 months. It reached a multi-billion Dollar evaluation in such a short time frame.

Yet, many are not satisfied with the performance because it did not move so much for a couple of weeks???

It is obvious that once an asset/stock/cryptocurrency reaches a multi-billion Dollar market cap, it will move slower than when it has a market cap of a couple million.

Yeah, except that monero is not one of the slow growers anymore!
I believe the only chance for etc to rise high will appear when and if eth successfully changes and becomes a coin with proof-of-stake. Miners will not work with eth, so why not to turn to etc instead? Anyway, there are no news about it happening in the foreseeable future, so I guess etc is not a good investment option nowadays.

Definitely ethereum is going to skyrocket very soon and be stable for some time is a sign that market is good and momentum is about to build up.  We should wait until bitcoin investors want to take profit from the recent pump and the coins will flow back to ethereum. Outside bitcoin Cash traders see ethereum the competitors to bitcoin and history has shown that whenever traders want to take profit are always converting there earnings.

The problem with ETC is that nothing happens on it. And when ETH goes to POS, maybe it will gain some hashing power but its price will probably tank as people are just going to dump it. If they have no projects running on their network like ETH does, it'll be useless and people won't have any incentive buying/hodling it.

I think it'll rise back in the 15-16$ mark or so in the next few days with the current uptrend but that's about it. I mined some a month ago, still holding, but will probably dump them soon.

yes, it is better if the coin stays on a support line. just HODL for a moment because not every day coins are  pumping. it takes time for some coin. some coin are pumping because of fake news but I belive in the ETC as this coin is not a PND coin.

Dude,think of it as if you were a investor.If I'm investing in a particular coin and it hasn't grown in  last months,I would definitely regret because I could have invested in a shitcoin and made much more money.

ETC has gone up almost ten times in terms of fiat in the last 8 months. What else do you want? Some people can be really impatient, a coin cannot go up every day, as long as the long term trajectory is positive then to me that is fine, if to you the growth is too slow maybe you should invest in other coins.

You're wrong.A coin can go up every month if it's Bitcoin.

That has only been true in this year, bitcoin was almost flat the whole year of 2015 and for many months in the year of 2016 the same happened again, it remained flat, this year has been extraordinary but do not forget the rest of the history of bitcoin.
