For investments I always read white paper and research the team and product, and mostly hodl. If you don't do that then you're mostly speculating, which can also work in crypto but will likely be less valuable long term.

That's very different between gamblers and investors. Gambling is purely speculative with no prediction market. It is playing with lucky and unlucky. The possibility theory or math. if you play dice there are six possibilities, 1-6 surface. 1/6. Just hope you are lucky you can 't make market , and profit analisys. In investing of ICOs, you can predict by reading the whitepaper and roadmap. If you are good and have analytical thinking you 'll make a lot of profit from your investment. That's not gambling, you have your own prediction, it is rational not lucky and unlucky.

Read the whitepaper is a must, Do a lot of research with the team, Try to analyze the popularity, how many hype by the project and i think that has reflected by the interest to join in the social grup to make a communication with the team. The clear milestones. that's all.

It's different to gamble and to invest in the sense before we invest we do some research of the project first before we put effort and we put our money to grow. So I choose to invest as I believe my money will grow and will profit.

Im both gambler and investor too. I will look into best time to either invest or gamble. However I will invest more as gambling is little risky for me.

While investing I will choose best ICO in the market which is getting more attention from the forum people. Most of them are trusted depending on the team members involved into their project.

Yes of course this is the first thing I will do. I like reading white paper of every project and they are very informative and tells us the pathway for the project. We can judge from the description of services how much success it can get. I will have 50% trust built already by looking at white paper.

I've made money from gambling but not as much as I've made by holding alts/btc. Gambling is very risky business if you want long term profit, I am sure there are people who are better than I am. I like to pay attention to white paper, team and more importantly people behind it. Decent crowd can make it a hit as long as they're delivering what they promised. Also, marketing that's a big  one.

I am a gambler and a trader at the same time. I invest on altcoins that I see potential and in bitcoin and hold it long term. I also gamble on pump and dump altcoins but I don't hold it for long, as soon as I got a good enough sum of profit, I sell it instantly without holding long and technically that makes me both a gambler and investor. Of course I am doing my own research. Reading through the whitepaper, roadmap and discover the team are my main priorities whenever I discover an ICO that's worth to be checked out. The last time I spent a lot of time learning about an ICO I was disappointed since the team made it look like they were doing a hell of a job but the deeper I was getting into the project I just figured out that they were trying to scam. It's true that investing is similar to gambling but they're not quite the same. The only similarities they have is that you take risks in both actions. However, their differences is what matter.

Investing money on a coin requires several process in order to become successful .You have to do some research about the coin you want to invest on, read the whitepaper, look at their roadmap, study their goals. Unlike gambling which depends mostly in pure luck, either you win or you lose. The latter is a very risky choice. It's better to take some risk on investments rather than on your luck.
