So by mistake, instead of the address bar I typed in the search bar BITMAIN and bitmainmasters.com was the 3rd or 4th listing. Are they legit? They seem fake. Anyone ever ordered anything from them?

Offcourse I know about the original Bitmain site. But I wanna know..

Googling bitmain, bitmainmasters.com doesn't appear on my side. What you probably saw is most likely an advertisement.

Doing a bit of research, I'm not sure if it is a scam, but it most likely is. Here's the whois result:
Quote
Domain:bitmainmasters.com
Registrar:Network Solutions, LLC.
Registration Date:2017-04-03
Expiration Date:2018-04-03
Updated Date:2017-04-03
Status:clientTransferProhibited
@domaindiscreet.com

Looking at the registration email, I think it looks like sort of a disposable email. Though I'm not 100% sure. It also has a video of their "mining operations" on their mainpage, which is a video from 2014. They probably just youtubed "bitcoin mining" then found that video and claimed it was theirs. Also, I couldn't even find reviews of the website, or any posts about it at all on bitcoin/cryptocurrency forums. I would stay away from it.

If you're looking at buying miners, go to the reputable sellers instead.

After more checking, bitmainmasters.com is very badly ranked Google(not even in the top 10 pages), so I highly doubt bitmainmasters.com is a ranked indexed site. Though this can depend on the geographic location of the person searching. At the same time, I'm not seeing any ads of it when searching the term "bitmain", so I'm really unsure on why it appeared on your side.

bitmainmasters probably hasn't been reported here because it's probably a very not-famous scam site, or probably because it's a newly made website, yet to be advertised by the owner.

What honestly keyword you use when searching i couldn't see the site when searching it using the bitmain keyword in google..
Or maybe its only for selected country where you can only seen or its advertised or sponsored site that you can see in the first page i could not see any even the keyword of bitmain master except for bitmainmaster  you can it in the first in the top 10..
And i don't think this one is safe,,
But according to site i don't see even a disclaimer and privacy policy of the site so i can say that this site is not safe and it can be scam you if you buy there ..

I ordered from them Saturday, sent the Bitcoin later that evening and haven’t heard anything since. That combined with the fact they don’t accept anything but wire transfer or bitcoin makes me feel like I was just scammed. Replying to the email that the invoice came from generated a ‘no such user’ bounceback. Calls to the number on their site went unanswered.

I just sent an email to their gmail address demanding that they give me a status. We’ll see. My gut is telling me I’ll never see that money again.  Do not recommend buying from this site!!!

The same exact thing happened to me. I placed and order, transferred payment and haven’t heard back since.  Original email address bounded back. The email on their website is a @gmail address which doesn’t look very professional and they’ve never responded to me. . I’m pretty sure I was just scammed.

I am pretty sure its a scam... and I fell for it. Website looks exactly like another website bit main alliance. Many red flags that I should have caught. But I put my trust in the process... ugh.
Red flag #1 location on website is new York, but company based in Tampa FL.
Red flag #2 invoice number was 15678W (5678...im an id10t)
Red flag #3 Said it would take 5 days to confirm receipt of funds. (for over seas orders... but based in FL/NY)
Red flag #4 Called the listed number 917-214-6523...rang, went to voicemail... when it said "leave a message for..." there was no identifier... just dead air like someone was driving.
Red flag #5 no response when asking for update via website "contact us"
I'm sick to my stomach. To place an order, you have to provide a ton of info... identity is probably stolen...
Lesson learned here is buy directly from the company, or on eBay/amazon... they insure the purchase, but its more expensive.
Anyone know if there is any recourse that can be taken?

Googling bitmain, bitmainmasters.com doesn't appear on my side. What you probably saw is most likely an advertisement.

Doing a bit of research, I'm not sure if it is a scam, but it most likely is. Here's the whois result:
Quote
Domain:bitmainmasters.com
Registrar:Network Solutions, LLC.
Registration Date:2017-04-03
Expiration Date:2018-04-03
Updated Date:2017-04-03
Status:clientTransferProhibited
@domaindiscreet.com

I think I know the difference between an ad on google vs an actual page ranked indexed site.
Regardless.
I do believe they're a scam, but how come they haven't been heavily reported here?

Because they might crossed with the many people in the forum. If the person knows the reporting the scams in the scam accusation section means he will definitely report about it.
Normal ad site will more similiar to the real site which is been widely used but the you should aware what is effect of these kind sites will do to you and whether the take your bitcoins hacked from the wallet.

Just stumbled on this site. Antminer S9 is out of stock so the fact they say they have it seemed suspicious.

The site is nice looking, not surprised people get scammed.

Can you show some printscreen about on the email that you did receive from them? I would say if its true or not that you did able to transfer money then I would say sorry for your loss man. I have accessed the site and now they are still operating which means they do still able to scam people in that case.Prices doesn't differ but the thing here is that why do people choose up to risk on these unknown not reputable sites when it comes on selling miners? They are just like putting up a gun into their own head.

Your English is not great so I'm not sure what you mean, but I didn't dig up an old thread, it was only a few days old.

I'm a Hero but I don't know everything, I have mined LTC back in the day, but never BTC, so I was looking at buying a miner, and tumbled on that website. Then I did a search and found this thread.

This website is most definitely a scam.
25 Broadway, New York, NY 10004 <--- This is the address the company says it's based from You can Google and find out it's a community college. I feel like if it was meant for people to mine bitcoins then why is it so hard to buy a Miner? Why do people go to great extents to scam innocent hard working people to trying to make a few extra honest dollars to take care of their family? No wonder why this world is so corrupt and people are really starting not to believe in anything. Anyway I'm still going to try and be somewhat hopeful and do my part to deter others from making the same mistake that I did.

The site mentioned seems scammy site dude. Please do not go towards them. If you want to buy a ASIC hardware or PSU. Whatsoever you please try on the bitmain site alone. They are legit in that and making delivery only little delay than the other resale sites.
This delay makes people turn to different resale site. You cannot able to get the miners for the same price you find bitmain. If you need the hardware urgently. You can go with the eBay or other reputed resale site. Else you can wait and get that.
