Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

So that's a set of sample chips, and don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see it. But their site still says 9-10wks for delivery of chips. How long have people been waiting again? is this really reasonable? Come on, more transparency. Stop screwing with people.

Yes, I hope so, but still every week.. every day counts at this point. I'm trying to keep track of all the possible ways to get hashing power to the public here.. There are a lot of people that will see this and hit the order button. Well good, I'm sure they'll get chips eventually, if Avalon has their say. They seem to be really trying here. But WHY can't they stop lying about lead time? It is extremely misleading to their customers, when timing is the key element. |
