What do you mean by fake coins? If you have trouble figuring out this yourself, you should avoid investing in anything besides bitcoin. There are thousands of "altcoins" out there and it would be impossible to list them all accurately. Have a browse through the scams section and you'll see a dozen reports on them just this week.

There is OneCoin that is 100% and you should avoid it. It's even not a cryptocurrency, without blockchain, miners etc. But at the same time there are a lot of projects on blockchain that can be scam, so you need to investigate for yourself, read topics etc. Good luck with this

In reality there're no 'Fake Coins',but instead 'Scam Coin' aka 'Fake Project'. if you're looking for it then you should a research about it,because there're noone make a list for scam coin. why nobody make it ? it's very easy, because if they're already confirmed as a 'Scam Coin' aka 'Fake Project' they will definetely dump all of their holding and there'll be no more buy orders, in brief, that coin is died.nobody is willing to buy it or even touch it,so it's very useless to create a list for every scam coin or fake project. plus, everyday you can see more than 10 Coins created, and how much it will be in a month ? and how much it will be the length of the list ?
so research it by yourself. Wish you luck my friend

fake coins? its my first time to hear such a thing though i dont think there are any fake coins out there but instead there are "scams" which you should really avoid because its hard if you get caught up in one. It would be a troubling experience since scams are most likely there just to trick you in joining their campaign and for you work hard on behalf of their project without any pay whatsoever. You should review the campaign that you would like to join before applying for it.

I am talking about Scam Coins when I say Fake Coins. There are a lot of them with Initial Coin Offerings, how can you judge which one is real which one is a scam? \
I think I got my answer anyways.

You will never get such a list because every day, with cheating on fraud, there are more and more of them, so the only thing you can do is when you meet with this offer carefully check it.

After all, is there a way to figure it out which project is a scam or not ?! or you just have to choose the project that appears to have a minimum risk and pray it won't be a scam...

even if there was such a list, there are so many coins launched on a daily basis that it would be impossible to keep it up to date. One day you'll buy one and see it the other date on the list. Always do your own due diligence when buying/investing in a new coin. Join the Telegram of the group and talk with the people there, asking tough questions. Check the website as well, if there is already a platform/service coin launched and whether it's supported on some kind of exchange

There will come a day when they will regulate the coins and 99% of them will disappear.

What do you mean by saying "fake coins"? I've never heard such definition. If I understand your question correctly, I can tell few coins, as you call "fake" it's Onecoin, Swisscoin and few others (can't remember their names). They are claiming themselves as cryptocurrency, but they are not at all. But you can call many coins as fake - mostly altcoins made that their devs would benefit and these coins cant be used in our real life. I don't even talk about ICO tokens. But anyway, it's subjective criterias to call such coins as fake. I think it's nothing wrong to call Bitcoin Cash as fake coin

The SEC recently filed fraud charges against 2 ICOs: REcoin and DRC, both run by Maksim Zaslavskiy. One reason is that the tokens they claimed to be selling “don’t really exist.” Literally fake coins!

If the name look suspicious, needless to say, stay away! Named after a world leader or a celebrity, stay away! That should cut out about 100 of them...?

I think it is difficult for one person to get the list of all fake coins. It is better you see the feedback, comments and other resources about a coin before you go for it. It will help you reduce your risk to the minimum.

To answer your original question, there is no such thing currently: it would be (almost) impossible to maintain because of the rate of new ones that get created everyday. If you desire to invest in one, do some research about it and look at what people say about it. If it doesn't give you enough confidence, it's probably not a good idea

There can be fake coins when someone gives out coins in their websites (you just see a number of coins which you can do nothing with) rather than in your wallets (desktop/mobile/web). There'll be no source code which anyone can view. I know of at least 1 which started this way but eventually when they were ready with source code and wallets, all the coins shown in the websites were gone.
