Since the information about overclocking the Avalons seems to be out already and it's only a question about time when someone distributes a modified bit-file, I will post mine:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16881231/avalon_clone/firmware/openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr703n-v1-squashfs-factory_20130519b.bin

I have been running it for a month on a batch 1 unit. Happy mining Smiley

Thanks for this too, I am mining right now at 87 GH/s stable at 380 Mhz with a 3 module unit.

so you can just put it on 380 Mhz without any issues? have you tried 395?  I didn't dare to put it above 350

Wow is great to know from 282mh/s to 350mh/s or more a 68mh/s increase per chip. 100 chip will give an additional 6.8gh/s Smiley

I have tried 395 and hashrate goes down... so, I got scared and put to previous best working config (i dont tried all frequencies but the performance at 380 was quite good Smiley)

Thx for info.
For pb free we are very close melt point. Maybe desolder connector before reflow board with new chip ?

GandalfG: You can have your hash boards without the connector mounted. Would you want to have reflowed paste on the connector pads or do you plan to solder them with soldering iron?

Leave it (pads for connector) clean if no problem for you.
Which is the aluminium sheet thickness of the cut parts for the case?

Strombom, I am interested in one of these. I sent you a PM.

And by the way, nice work! It looks like they are coming together nicely.

2013-06-25: Finally hashing Smiley Next I will solder 10 chips and test with full load... Tomorrow we will receive the enclosures. Lots of things happening now Smiley

No chips were harmed during this procedure, not very smart of me to remove chip 1 instead of chip 10 eh? Smiley

Strombom, you disassembly original hash module. Between the board and the heatsink is the only thermal paste, or they used extra pads ?

Milan77 and adi: I have a few units that are not reserved, I think $2600 for the last full units including assembly is a reasonable price.

2013-06-26: We have assembled the case and all hole positions are correct! Now we have 15 sets of those cases!

candoo: Let me see after I have finalized all sales of the 15 units. I ordered 20 control units so there should be a couple left.
