It's not the bytecoin is bad, it's younger brother monero outran it.
There are negligible chances of bytecoin getting any value.
It's supply is already surplus and its uses are very limited.

I know the best news currently for bytecoin is the web wallet, this is very useful as bytecoin was some time in crypto currency world, and the blockchain is huge to download. So a web wallet helps a lot.

I'm unfamiliar with the story behind bytecoin and Monero.  BCN was created first, Monero being a fork.. So I always assumed that bytecoin would have more value.   Was Monero made by the same devs?  Otherwise the bytecoin devs, who would know more about their own code would be better able to maintain the tech behind it.

Nope, with total supply coins of Bytecoin, it cannot have high price again like earlier this year. It just increasing up by MLM groups and the news delist in next time. Therefore, holder this coin need sell their coin with good price before it go to the hell.
