Hello my mining pool just stoped and im searching a new mining pool for DVC

I am trying to start mining on my laptop, can anyone help make this thread more informative?

If everyone is thinking outside the box, there is a new box.

You won't mine much with a laptop, even if it has a bad-ass video card. Unfortunately the bitcoin chain (and the others) are a tad over difficulty for any CPU mining. All of the info to start mining is on the mmpool page though, generally I do something as simple as:

cgminer.exe or ./cgminer (I use Linux) and then:

cgminer -o mmpool.bitparking.com:3333 -u shakezula -p x

and that's it.

If you're on windows, look for the GUIMiner its a very simple GUI front end for cgminer/cpuminer. The -u is my username, the -p is my password, you'll set both of those up when you get an mmpool account.

Again, don't expect to mine shit with most laptops--unless you have an Alienware I wouldn't even bother personally.
