Of course nothing can stop bitcoin from going up and it will still go up even if there are other coins newly with lesser transaction fees and all. There is still a high demand for bitcoin and most especially now wherein bitcoin has been known worldwide little by little so there are a lot of factors and possibilities bitcoin will still go up.

Now that it's been proven there are many other alternatives to Bitcoin which have advantages such as quicker transactions, smaller fees, and higher mining profitability, I don't see a reason to think Bitcoin will get to $10,000.
Will the price of Bitcoin still go up? It seems so outdated when compared to its competitors.
You don't see a reason that Bitcoin will reach $10,000 but you ask for, Bitcoin is the father of all crypto currencies out there and it never stuck in more than 8 years now of course, it is still growing besides its price because the developers is keeping with the trend of the modern securities. In my own opinion it will surpass that $10,000 mark but not this year, maybe I am wrong. As Altcoin will remain there so Bitcoin too, the main objectives of the Altcoins of course is too surpass Bitcoin but it is always keeping so that is why Bitcoin is still number one and holding the Dominance of 47.2% in terms of market cap in cryptos.

Bitcoin can still go up because we can see that even the price of bitcoin is on the top like the other people also believed, it is still climbing hard to a newer tops of the price and i think if we keep on spreading bitcoin and other people or countries will also take actions then we can push bitcoin to its maximum limit.

Bitcoin obviously can still rise, although the process will take a long time. Therefore we should save more Bitcoin, as future investments that may touch prices above $ 10,000.

Why not? Remember, there are no other altcoins if not because of bitcoins. Bitcoin's value will rise, no doubt. And take note, if bitcoin's price will fall, expect that the value of other altcoins will also fall (because those are directly proportional to the value of bitcoins). And one more thing, the speed of transactions, the amount of fee per transaction, and profitability of the other altcoins will also be affected once the value of bitcoins drop.

And do not forget altcoin market, because after investing to Bitcoin, investor will find the way helps them increasing their balance with this amount Bitcoin they have bought. So, trading will become good choice for them or ICO market.

I think you're right, there's no stopping Bitcoin at this point in time because it keeps getting popular and so can go up any time as we all wait in anticipation because the more people come to know about Bitcoin then it gains more value.

Yeah it will, it's trying to stabilize and correct the price right now. Soon people will actually see it's undervalued at the price should be around $5,000 by the start of September.

All those advantages the alternatives have has always been there every now and then new coin is developed to be next bitcoin but every of those attempt, bitcoin still came out on top in which all these won't be otherwise. Also, all those alternatives are not the ones being adopted by organisations or the one former PayPal COO is making comparison with. So, we are just starting, it won't be easy, but we will get there

I do think so. If you take a look at the market it is still obvious that Bitcoin is the fastest growing cryptocurrency and it looks like it will be so for a long time, unless better technology is made. Price does look like it will go up later, right now it seems to be stable and just floating around the 4k mark. Looks to remain there for a bit longer and I think we will reach 5k before segwit2x.

It can and it will. These other alt coins that are "better" than bitcoins (in some point they are better, i'm not saying that they aren't good at all) were here at last year too, but bitcoin's price still went up, so i am sure that people still will buy bitcoins and will use them, they won't change to other alt-coin this fast. I think we will see $10000 by the end of this year, or at least we will be very close to that.

I believe it will still go up. Some people shifted to some altcoins because of the lower price in bitcoin and some also shifted to Bitcoin Cash because its more profitable to mine now. Bitcoin is still the known one and many investors are still considering investing in bitcoin. There is still no mass adoption yet so when people knew that they can earn through bitcoin then they would eventually buy some so the price will still go up.

Last week of thrilling price gains and two all-times highs – $4,483 on August 15, and $4,520 on August 17 – bitcoin value is have now bounced back toward $4,000 and a possibilty to dive lower for the next few weeks. I think Bitcoin stability isn't good for technology investors but hopefully it'll soar up in this year end.

Bitcoin was a first of his kind. It is like a trademark today, you know. Just look at all these attempts to save BTC from extinction - Segwit2x activation, hardfork split, all these crutches. It`s hard to imagine for me that in the foreseeable future it would not go up. 10 000 not a limit, just one more level to cross.

Yes, of course. $ 10000? Of course, I can. But not in the near future, maybe 2-3 will come when bitcoin has begun to be accepted by everyone in the world. First, people will start doing a lot of transactions using bitcoin, and then the government will see it be an advantage. With the legality of bitcoin in a country, I think it will also affect the price (I mean the price will continue to increase, although unstable).

No one can successfully predict the market right now, anything could happen. Bitcoin can survive and grow exponentially, Bitcoin Cash can surpass it and then grow much higher... They can both coexist with similar prices, or one much higher... There are so many different possible scenarios that i'd recommend either holding both as some kind of hedge against any outcome, or holding neither and wait out the storm (keep your investment in alts/eth/etc)
I agree with you market is unpredictable specially when you talk about bitcoin because its rate depend on users supply or demand in world. .
