What i seen in the movement of the price and the trends who are looking for bitcoin are still many and i think there are still price pump will happen with bitcoin and it can be increase more soon .. So in order to make more profit better to invest more bitcoin so that you can make profit every time the price of bitcoin increase and reach $5,000 this follow days or weeks.
The trends are still high that i think the reason of the price increase..

Which economists predicted a few years ago (before bitcoin very popular like now) is really much happening right now. Bitcoin will be much more valuable than $5K.
Bitcoin is almost limitless when it comes to the price it can reach, 5K is nothing that is why people in the forum that truly believe in bitcoin keep telling other people to not sell even at these prices. |

Will the price of Bitcoin still go up? It seems so outdated when compared to its competitors.
Yes if course, Bitcoin will eventually go back up. We will see fluctuations and the price may consolidate some, but eventually the price will go up and reach new highs and keep going. Bitcoin is built to be deflationary so over time it will be more scarce and more valuable as demand increases. The same is true of many of the best altcoins as well. They will rise to the top in price eventually as others drop off and fail. |

The ceiling for bitcoin is so high, we don't even know what kind of price it can reach. The possibilities are endless, of course the price can keep going up.
Some estimates say that bitcoin has only reached 0.1% of adoption among the human population and that number is the equivalent of 7 million people then you can see that the potential for bitcoin is still huge, we are part of the early adopters even if you just bought bitcoin last night, what if bitcoin reached 1%, 5% or 10% of adoption, can you imagine the huge price and market cap that bitcoin will have at that point? |

For long time I thought Bitcoin price can be worth infinity But later i realize there is a max price. And that Max price is right about $1 million. Since $1 million is way more then $10k, then shorth anwser is, Yes! |

They can both coexist with similar prices, or one much higher... There are so many different possible scenarios that i'd recommend either holding both as some kind of hedge against any outcome, or holding neither and wait out the storm (keep your investment in alts/eth/etc)

I agree with you right now nobody can really tell if bitcoin prices will go up or even go down, because bitcoin prices are very volatile, all we can do now is keep investing with bitcoin, hold our bitcoin that we have and sell it at a best price according to us. But there are some little indicators like news and happenings of bitcoins that gives us a little hint on what would be the outcome of bitcoin for that times and if we can join to the hype brought by that news we can actually earn for that scenario. But we should also think that this is only a short term happenings and we should stick to our god feel so that we will not been left behind if the hype is gone. |

Prediction is a name of our thinking, it is not a name of guaranty that in the coming time it will be true, and also same here in this thread, he is asking our prediction. So it is other thing that our prediction will be true or not, but as a answer we should explain about it. Perhaps i agree with both of you, we just listen what people said but we do what we see and only do that thing which is right. So about my prediction i think bitcoin will be ended in this year at $5000. |

popularity can trump features and innovation. Bitcoin is much popular. Besides, it is working its way to being faster with the lightning network and all.
Other coins are good, but I do not think they can end Bitcoin or surpass it.
This is something that some persons miss, technology is not everything, if a product is slightly better than another one, but if the one that is not so good has the backing of the population then there is nothing to do, just look at the apple products, while apple fans love them the truth is that the products are not as good as they make them out to be, but since apple is popular then they get sales. |

yes if you do not have the ability and knowledge in trading certainly very risky to do it and not impossible will experience losses in tradingnya, may be more to hold bitcoin for a long time ralatif about 1-2 years of course this would be better and have the potential to get profit as it looks like bitcoin prices will continue to improve over the next few years.

Why not? High fees, slow transactions, many other altcoins, fear, uncertainty, and doubt known as FUD, we have seen it all and bitcoin is still attractive for many people. What can stop this rise and adoption? It will continuously increasing there's no reason that bitcoin will stop going up since the demand of bitcoin is always a choice of the users, and users are choosing bitcoin in the end. We trade with other coins and use them just to make more bitcoins. With years I`m more optimistic about bitcoin then I was before, and I think that bitcoin will rise more in future.
