It seems to be swept under the bus in favor of more attractive cryptos at the moment.

How is ARK's development proceeding? When will it's platform be realistically ready?

It is a project on progress. Try to be patient. It has been developing itself. ARK is really new so I think there is still a lot of time needed for the complete development of this project. When it is done, I know this will be performing great. So far, ARK is doing really fine in the exchanges.

Because they don't have shills like other coins do, they all just talk about doing things they are promising to do but all they offer so far is just their web sites with no actual product to offer for use.

Do your research, take a look at the roadmap.
