Is Faucet a waste of time? Y/N

I really think the faucets are really a waste of time but others have no choice but to do it first theres not many reliable faucets that can make money fast second theres a limit to how you can earn faucet im not discouraging anyone but to me faucets are nice i takes a hard work and patience to do it some people dont know the value of making your money hard i made this because someone told me that faucets are just a waste of time

From the point of view of profitability of the taps is a waste of time, but they need to familiarize themselves with bitcoin. You learn to make wallet cash and other technical issues that will be useful in working with bitcoins.

Well its not a waste of time if youre enjoying doing them for the small amount of coins youre earning. Or if you have some spare time to waste on faucets, then do it. Its better than doing something like smoking cigarettes and drinking because youre bored.

For me this is waste of time, since i have regular job which takes 8 - 10hrs every weekdays and i give my spare time in participating in signature campaign and for my kids that is why i do not choose faucet as good source of income.

especially at this rate, if the faucet owner still give same amount that we claim before the price rising, i think it is worth, for now 0.001 is more than $3. so i think it is good to do but not as primary activity

I've done this myself to know that it is really a waste of time. But most of noobs go through this, in a newcomer's perspective it is nice to see a positive amount on your wallet for the first time. Especially when you're a noob but they'll grow above it. Sometimes it is a good thing to have faucets, I've never seen a popular blockchain project that doesn't have faucets. Maybe it is a sign of growth when a project have one and that's a positive thing.

You're literally years too late to make any decent money using faucets, total waste of time these days. It's basically for cents, utter waste of time & effort.

Yes, it is. Although I am claiming in freebitco.in faucet several times a day, i'm just spend less than 1 minute to claim every hour. But for faucet with short waiting time, you will spend a lot of time in it with dust profit. The most profit faucet i have seen so far is raiblock, but your daily earning in faucet should ~1-2$/day...

If you want to earn a pittance then you're far better off with even the lowliest signature campaign.

Well yeah, i pretty much agree with you. Faucets are waste of time unless you have a lot of referrals that are mostly active to bring some extra income for you. I'm sure when those "Faucet Thingies" were new, a lot of people could make not thousands, but hundreds of bucks by spreading their referrals around the web and i'm sure they could gain a lot of referrals back then. but nowadays, everyone knows what faucets are, how low can they bring, so i think not a lot of people are using that anymore, except newbies, who are still new into bitcoin making and who think that with faucets they can get some goodies lol..

Definitely,faucet is a waste of time.It gives very little earning to users in satoshis.It would take a very long time for earnings to become a descent amount.It would be much better to join in a signature campaign and start earning.Why should any one waste his precious time when he has many other chances to earn a descent income.So,income earned from faucet is not worth.

Im afraid that they do change to the payout rate and im sure they are doing that right now because they would not give faucet rates basing on the previous price of bitcoin because for sure lots of people would claim because every claim would really be valuable knowing that the rate or price of bitcoin have risen up too much already. Generally speaking faucet is really a time wasting job and you would only get small amounts for your lots of efforts.

Probably depends where you life.

If you live in a Western country you can make vastly more by working at some job like McDonalds, which is easy to get.

If you live in a country that has no jobs or very low wages - like a couple of dollars a day - I can see where there might be a place for earning via faucets.

Well from my own point of view faucets is waste of time I have been there before I know what it takes to get enough satoshis I purposely involved myself in it just to work hard  and gain experience I usually did faucet at 12AM to 6AM. even with those 6 hours I earned an equivalent less than 1 dollars.

Yes, Faucets are waste of time and it is completely normal. Why should someone give someone else valuable satoshis for free? Nothing can be earned freely. But I thing using a faucet is a good way to become familiar with bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. I myself started with faucets.

To be honest I think the faucet only wastes time and energy, because the results obtained are not suitable with the cost of electricity and internet connection.
The last time I saw the faucet website paid only 20 Satoshi, it was very sad

Absolutely yes. It's a waste of time. You only get penny from them. It can only be profitable if you have a lot of refferals and rotators. I think it can give you decent profit. For me, it's not worth to spend time. I've been doing that since i was a newbie here and decide to cut it out when my rank is a bit higher. My experience about faucets. Countdown is so long for 50 sats. If you are serious and active on it. It can give atleast $5 below. You are lucky if you are playing faucets on ealier days of bitcoin because the rate that time i think was high.

Im sick of that crap. Thinking about the days that im playing faucets. I start laughing, i look like desperate man who wants to have a whole bitcoin. And then i realize that this is impossible to happen. Can't even pay internet bills and electricity. Loss, that's what you get.

It is waste of time for the people who doesn't have time,but for people with much free time there is no harm in doing that
I'm one of the people with much free time,i'm doing faucet every now and then,i let the btc stay in the faucet wallet and not wd till it's enough
