Is Faucet a waste of time? Y/N

Yes, it is. Although I am claiming in freebitco.in faucet several times a day, i'm just spend less than 1 minute to claim every hour. But for faucet with short waiting time, you will spend a lot of time in it with dust profit. The most profit faucet i have seen so far is raiblock, but your daily earning in faucet should ~1-2$/day...

Agree! it is really waste of time and you are just making the developer or the owner of that website rich, she/he only one getting the real profit from it and it is way bigger than you are earning on that faucets. It is really wasting of your time but as a newbie like for the firsttime in bitcoin earning then it could be a good start from it then try to find ways to earn more from it.

I really think the faucets are really a waste of time but others have no choice but to do it first theres not many reliable faucets that can make money fast second theres a limit to how you can earn faucet im not discouraging anyone but to me faucets are nice i takes a hard work and patience to do it some people dont know the value of making your money hard i made this because someone told me that faucets are just a waste of time

It is waste of time for me. Now that bitcoin price is very high they just don't pay enough, you can earn much more with signature campaigns for example. I guess faucets are good for people that are lazy to do anything else, but they pay almost nothing now imo.

Yeah i agree.. faucets are waste of time, unless you have a lot of referal.. Haha .. But if you want to earn btc i suggest you join signature campaign and social media campiagn.. But if you enjoy what are you doing go for it..But for me it would be much better to have them both if you not doing anything else.. it's your choice

I think the compilation of Bitcoin is a waste of time and a very weak profit. The best part is to start with a little money so that you can learn easily and start to get money quickly.

Both running faucet with dream of getting paid from adnetwork and claiming from faucets is just waste of time these days. Faucet owners have to pay from their pocket because no any ad network will pay good amount for non-convertible faucet's traffic. You can work hard offline to earn some good amount of money so that you can buy bitcoin with that rather than wasting same amount of time in claiming from faucets for free bitcoin worth of pennies.

+1 I agree with the guys, faucets are such a waste of time that I still wonder why people are still collecting pennies spending several hours to fill captcha and getting paid ~0.001 per captcha. 1$ per 1000 Deduce the electricity cost after that.

If you can collect good numbers of referral then it is good but with no referral it is nothing but waste of time. It is better to develop some skill than clicking for satoshi.

I am still a newbie and like to do (sometimes) some claiming from faucets. It is fun to do but it goes very slow.
But if you claim from altcoin faucets and these coins go up in price than it becomes interesting. See dogecoin: couple months ago 1 doge was 0.00015$ and now it is 0.0015$...

I think faucets are good if you are planning to start trading without using your money...
Just to make a couple dollars in cryptos to start the trading game... This can be their only purpose.

well i still have to disagree with you. as i mentioned above, faucets used to be good, when it was a "new" thing and people who spread their referral links, could make not a thousands, but probably few hundreds back then. Nowadays everyone knows how faucets work and apart from that, it just gives you almost nothing. + Faucet is open-sourced which means that everyone can create their own and start earning but there are a lot currently and hardly gaining cash.

It is indeed a waste of time. You are just wasting your time collecting dusts. Look at the fee you will have to pay when you send those coins somewhere else. It will eat up most of your earnings. Don't you think it is much better to do something more efficient?

it'll always be answered with yes, since faucets takes a lot of time and also needs to reach within their minimum amount of payout

Faucets could be seen as a waste of time from the point of view of profitability, yes. On the other hand, as some of the users said, they are a nice way to gather experience and to get to know cryptocurrencies and how the currency systems work. Nonetheless, you've got to be always careful on where you invest your time and, if it is the case, your money.

Faucets were only good when bitcoin was still in development phase where you can get more than 1 bitcoin per claim. But that era have ended long time ago so these days what we can claim from any bitcoin faucet is just dust amount and it is even harder to reach minimum payment threshold. So yes claiming from faucets is just waste of time today.

Personally, I can earn from faucets more than average wage in many poor countries. I can't call it as waste of time. I hodl my faucet earnings. Bitcoins earned few years ago, now worth thousands dollars.
Offcourse, if you will claim hundreds of faucets all day long, it will be waste of time, because there is many more effective earning methofs. But I don't see nothing wrong when you claim from some faucets, or referring people when you have some free time.

Faucets changed so much, I remember times when i had 100 tabs opened and i was solving captcha and claiming reward as fast as i could, it's really hard to do that now. Unless you have lots referrals it's waste of time.

There are many faucets like this now, because they need pop-ups, short-links to offer acceptable rewards to its users. 20 satoshis is like 200 satoshis from old faucets of years ago, so it's not so bad... And using a good faucet list you can avoid the worse intrusive faucets.

But there are some other faucets offering 50-70 satoshis also, what is a good reward proportional to old times (as the BTC price increased x10 from that time until now). When you get more experience claiming you become acknowledged with the faucet modus-operandi and claim faster.

I dont think faucets are waste of time, you just have to chose which faucets you should claim and there are many good faucets which are paying a decent amount.  Actually faucets were introduced because they are a nice way to introduce people to BTC and other currencies and they have done their work very nicely.  Many people just came to know about BTC because of this and many people loves free money even if its less than a penny.  So if you are using faucets intelligently then I think they are much worth of some of your spare time.
