In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Has anyone received confirmation yet?  Their latest announcement says that 10% of the accounts have been claimed.  I think I was one of the first to file a claim, yet I have heard nothing from them.

I think they meant that those accounts have been claimed but not activated yet. There isn't anywhere to login yet so I think its just a matter of "claiming" your account and waiting for the new website to come up. Hopefully soon though, this whole thing didn't bother me at first but I will admit its taking some of the luster off BTC - sort of ruined the fun for me.

Did my claim at 17:23 GMT yesterday, and still no word from them. I also asked them about 4 missing withdrawals from the last two weeks, and the customer service replied promptly - to make a claim application to recover the account which I had already done...

Ah well, I'm still holding my thumbs up that all goes well - they did post that they had problems with SEPA transfers, one of my withdraws is now 11 days (withdraw made 11.6) and counting ;p

Yes, I was one of the first as well.

I was hitting refresh regularly yesterday morning -- it couldn't have been ready much before I discovered it.

And I'm still waiting for an e-mail from them.

Mt. Gox changed the message you see when you click your "Recovery request status" link:

Quote
Once your account has been reviewed you will be sent an email advising how to access your Mt.Gox account.

We will begin sending out emails with instructions within the next 24 hours. If you do not receive the email after 24 hours (see above) please contact us so we can look into your claim request

My claim request is still pending.  Another 8 hours will make 24 since the request and then I'm instructed to contact them.

I was also able to fill out and submit request before the site was having trouble loading again. I should be part of the first batch and I haven't received any confirmation email. Patiently waiting for the sunny trading days Grin

It's been almost 25 hours since I filed my claim.  No word yet.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

According to pool http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=21137.0 no one of 50 voters have yet regained account.

But perhaps they are doing it all at first secretly and then in one go re-enable all accounts?  But then why not just post that yeap we recognize you as the account owner and so on. Makes me nervous a bit

It's someone's image in their sig. When your browser tries to load the image, it can't see it because it is behind an authentication thing.

It's jkminkov's sig that's causing it.
