good day folks

having a problem with a rig i'm  building, rig consist of

mobo- GA-p55a-ud3r
Memory - 16gb
HDD - 400gb
Cpu - Core i5 280 GHz

Gpu 0 - R9 280x (in PCIe  slot 16)
Gpu 1 - R9 280x (in PCIe slot 16)
Gpu 2 - Rx 570   ( uses PCi riser card in pci 1 slot via usb)

My problem it that the machine doesn't pic up Gpu 2(RX570)

is there something that i'm missing, any help will be appreciated.

make sure you have it pushed in the whole way...I know sounds simple.

open device manager. check for other devices. if it's there right click and update.


All I can think of right now.

power off

put the  rx 570 in 1st  pcie full 16 slot

no other gpus.

boot if it shows let us know

if it does not show  let us know

just the rx 570 in a full slot  nothing else.

In BIOS, find your PCIe settings and change the settings for the slots... IDK Gigabyte BIOS layout but my ASROCK boards required I set them lower when using a riser.

Also, power matters and I have had some cards just not work on certain power adapters. Is the GPU2 using PSU connected 8 pin or a SATA 4 pin adapter?
