The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

We do have to make this decision for the community, as I don't see you coding the new coin.

Its our team, that needs to do this, and a scrypt coin is what we deem fit as we can then move on from just mining for profit, but to put this coin to use.

We have our projects we need to run, and if we need to start working on other algorithms then it will only delay it further.

If you dont like that the coin is going scrypt instead, then you are free to leave.

No one is keeping you here.

All specifications will stay the same.

1 ALTCOM block reward.
PoS at 180% per year.

Miners will just have a hard time.

If people had the same mentality as you, then Bitcoin would not exist, as its "too hard to mine".

I really don't understand, why need to cancel the 3rd time air drop...
U guys setup the countdown link and make everyone wait for it, but now just cancel it?
Why don't just payout the 1st 50 submitter as mention on 1st post...

The drops will come at a random point, but the first one will start at launch.
When 50 people have entered, then I will remove the link and start the payouts.

And you got the list already.

Why is airdrop 3 canceled and redone? What's wrong with the entries in the list? If you want to get the list to 100 entries just re-open airdrop 3 and wait for 50 new entries.

I have some questions here  Smiley

We have our projects we need to run  Who is the WE, how many ppl are part of the project & what are there rolls ?
im asking because i don't see this info on the OP

a scrypt coin is what we deem fit  was the coin build from scratch or is it a fork of a other coin ?

Well look like i will have to remove all my mining rigs friday. There is no way i cant beat a scrypt miner. So it will become like likecoin 1 person will have all hashrate of altcom mining. I will still fellow the coin and see how it go.

My little grain of salt, you should not cancel airdrop 3 but paid people in the new scrypt coin. Lots of them apply to it , work to change blockchain wallet... apply at that airdrop...

Airdrop 3 should be honored, it is bad enough for the major percentage of the community to be forced out, to add injury to insult, they now do not receive their campaign/airdrop rewards? I think that is a little harsh for a

coin that promotes and centers around the community.

It was clear the dev team would receive backlash for the change to Scrypt so early in the project, they did not really need to add further ear ache by making a decision not to honor payouts.

Also where other GPU friendly algorithms considered Neoscrypt, Skunkhash, Equihash ect.

This is not a flame post, more of a shock over the decisions really.

I understand everything .... the old algorithm does not work .... we are too lazy to implement a new ... here is a ready script, it and chew, and now we have no time ....... it's all clear, but it's completely unclear on what grounds or for what reasons do you cancel Airdrop 3. at least explain on the normal

Hehe, that would make them even more furious.

But again, mining is needed and if the coin grew as planned with the GPU friendly algorithm, then it would be impossible to make anything unless you have 30 cards sitting around to make a little.

I understand how they feel, but I won't limit this project to their liking, just so they can make some pocket change.
I want to build this, from the ground and up.

We won't be the next Bitcoin, but I want to create something unique and prove a point.

[sarcasm] Good job on the scrypt... [/sarcasm]

You probably know this already, but i want to say it anyway.
Maybe 90% of the altcommunity here are not asic miners, but you decided that scrypt algo is the way to go for "AltCommuntyCoin"?
Sorry, its just really bad decision in my eyes.

Good luck in your endeavors tho.
