Not much help really, this option only good to get you wallet in-sync, suffer the low node connections so staking become impossible. I also tried crusender's method but couldn't get any of connections at all. See NaXxow confirmed it works so I think maybe it involves in "open port in firewall".

Weird, last week after the wallet update to v1.1.0 I usually have more than 30+ connections with the same list of nodes above but recently not anymore.

i delete all files in appdata/roam (backup your wallet.dat)
add node in .conf
open port in firewall
start wallet and sync OK 42 connections

Here a little wiki how to for people having trouble synchronising they altcommunitycoin wallet.

1) You need have lastest wallet, version 1.1.0 (any wallet download after 25 august 2017 are 1.1.0) if you have already 1.1.0 and never use 1.0.0 skip to stage 4

2) If you got old wallet installation, close the wallet then you need go to "%appdata% altcommunitycoin folder", backup/copy wallet.dat file (this is the most important file if you lose it you lose all your coin), erase all other files in the folder (remember dont erase wallet.dat).

3) Start new wallet .exe, wait for it to start complety (till you see dashboard) then close it.

4) Go back to "%appdata% altcommunitycoin folder", there will be a file name : altcommunitycoin.conf. right-click it and open whit notepad. Copy and paste this code add the end of the text

5) Start wallet again, if blockchain was not downloaded it will be (can take a few min to 1 hours to download has blockchain get bigger and your internet speed) , and everything will be synchronise.

I have followed all of the steps very carefully but my wallet is still out of sync. I have checked the wallet version, done the steps from 1-5, but still cannot sync. Any other options to fix this? thanks

Пoлaгaю Bы cлeдитe зa нoвocтями, paз мы читaeм Bac здecь. Знaeтe чтo aлгopитм кoтopый иcпoльзoвaлcя дo вepcии 1.1.0.0 был blake2s и cиcтeмa POS тaм paбoтaлa нe кoppeктнo.
Пoэтoмy cooбщecтвo и paзpaбoтчики пpиняли peшeниe пepeйти нa дpyгoй  skunk и POS3, o чeм нaпиcaнo в шaпкe вeтки.
