This community has been helpful. I traded some 400 WDC for 10 LTC; I mined 2 days worth of Worldcoin at 1700kh/s, and ended up with 10 LTC traded. 10 LTC takes 4 days worth of mining.

Just do your homework, and you'll be confident in doing business in the world of cryptocurrency. I feel less of a noob and more of an adventurer right now.

Hey, congratulations man! You're right in that trading in these up and coming alt chains is kind of a thrill -- it's an e-adventure to say the least. What is your setup at the moment? I am very close to putting together my first rig, and your hashrate resembles that of a 3x7950.

Thanks, Currently using a Gigabyte 7950 x2 and undervolted, 650kh/s avg and a 6950 at 470kh/s. I don't mine Bitcoin but I've been active with LTC, did some pump+dump with FTC and CNC in the exchanges but I haven't traded coins through this forum. Most of my moneys are on BTC after trading from LTC based on looking at the trends, so the first 20 days of mining till now I did make a profit than just mining straight LTC and the alt-coin section of this forum really helped a lot (now that I've traded and not so much lurking around).

Good to hear man. I have no plans on GPU mining BTC, it's all going to be whichever Scrypt coin has the biggest hype at a certain time
