You will not see a coin go up 1000x anymore, those times are behind us (unless it's a pump and dump).
There are, however, many coins that have 5-10x potential, and my favourite pick for Q1 2018 is SunContract (SNC). Basically, it's an platform for trading solar energy P2P, without an middleman. The team is located in Slovenia, which is, next to Estonia, most crypto friendly country in Europe. They obtained all of the necessary legal permissions as well as partnership with an existing energy provider in Slovenia (so they can use their infrastructure).
Fully working platform is getting released in January, as well as marketing campaigns and more listings (currently at $25m market cap).

My pick is on electra! It’s already on fire and going to be added on a new Exchange in january.
Im not sure on electra if price will hit big this year 2018. Im on ethereum as the best coin for all this surely will hit huge price by next year. I always look into this price and ofcourse those who hold will get huge earnings. Ethereum is amazing but it can't actually make 100x or 1000x type of growth. We should look for something very cheap, maybe in the range of $0.1 and $1 so that they can initiate to make such growth on the exchanges. |

I can't give you specifics but just check the ICOs with very low marketcap or the coins that has been dumped during CHristmas period. Eventually, their prices will increase if they are not scams.

its hard to predict because everything is possible in the crypto world,Rational decision is that invest in all cheapest one coins majority will grow and if such amount of coin going decline will recover growing one coins.

Yesterday Ian Balina did a video about his favourite coins for 2018 of which he thinks that they could reach x100 or more in 2018. Among them were Wanchain and Arkchain. I think both are solid projects but I go more with Wanchain, interoperability of blockchains will be the next big thing imho. Lets wait and see!

I really believe that if you want to do time 1000 in one year, you should study ICO, make a selection of the best projects and DON'T buy during ICO, wait it to drop under 50% of ICO price and then BUY bags of it, go litteraly allin. and then sitback and relax  |

ALTCOM soon to be SONO is the best bet to pulling a 100x in my opinion. It has a marketcap under 1 million, has a dedicated team and potential to pump big when they release their game launcher. I think it could be 100x would place it at 100,000,000 marketcap which is not big at all. 1000x at 1 billion market cap... Not likely.
