hello
should i only open my desktop wallet for staking or should i also unlock it? what about the checkbox? and what is meant which staking? i help the network and get rewarded?
Hi, When you first download a wallet and it syncs with the network you should always encrypt it. So when you stake you will need to unlock the wallet to stake, when your coins are mature they will start to stake. Coins can take a few hours to 24 hours to stake, not 100% sure how long ethd coins take to mature but I think it's around 8+ hours. Yes by having the wallet open and staking you are helping support the network and in return you will get staking rewards paid in the coin you are staking, in this case ETHD coins. You will earn 10% per year on your ETHD coins you stake. got it. thx for explanation! is there a minimum amount for have "mature" coins? |

For those who need help to run the wallet on windows, add
ethereumdark.conf file
to folder:

Okay, I tried adding ethereumdark.config file with the code to the right place on my computer, shut down ETHD Wallet and opened it again and I'm still "out of sync".
I added the code to a text document. Is that wrong?
I could be wrong but I think I see the problem. First I think it is supposed to be "EthereumDark.conf" and also it should NOT be a text file. Save it as all files (it will have diff icon) txt file Work with me You need to change the file name to EthereumDark.conf |

Hi guys, anyone know how much ETHD will be dropped in each address?
Its a surprise Akaruz, and totally up to the dev. Also, dont forget all, if you want to support Ethd update your signatures! Thank you for your answer. May I ask you how much ETHD is necessary to stake? Any amount of ETHD is good enough to stake but the more you have the better chances you have at earning more stakes. I think a minimum amount to stake would be 100 coins. This should earn you some stakes each week if you stake often. Good luck! |

UPDATE: We have requested to be listed on Bittrex and Nova Exchange. Expect us to be listed on either 1 or 2 exchanges within 1 week.
Bittrex hard to get. But nova is achievable which is a great exchange. Bittrex is indeed hard to get onto. As far as I know, they haven't listed any new coin recently. Nova on the other hand has recently suffered from a DDOS attack. I have been trying to register for more than 3 weeks now, but they suspended new registrations and no one has any idea when they are going to accept new users. Cryptopia sounds good, too. They ask for ~ 2 BTC for listing though. Yes, I think it's harder to Bittrex. Minexcoin try to be listed since several weeks without results |
