I have to say that it does seem like something needs to be done about all the potential double accounts, but for those of us that are legitimate first accounts it would suck if all newbies were excluded. I actually joined so that I can eventually participate in the DeepOnion airdrop/bounty but I really like ETHD (so far) and would like to get some

Hi abi18, Thanks a lot for the free coins, made my day!  How to stake? I could not see any option in the windows wallet. you have to let the wallet sync and (unlock it) to stake your coins are there any more nodes to add so i can get my wallet to sync? You probably already have these nodes, but the ones I added are on page 116 or 117 I think. I'm on my phone otherwise I'd just quote them. |

Well I see a lot of newbie hate. Your claims may all be true about account farming, but there indeed are a few of us who are authentic and happened to join this forum pretty late.
I got into this crypto stuff last year and joined this forum last week or so just to see all these accusations fly in all the airdrop/bounty threads. When I mailed abi18 with my ETHD address, the first thing that I noticed was the NEWBIE_ALERT_IN_YOUR_FACE_IN_LARGE_RED_FONT_WHAZZZA! in the sent mail.
Well, I get it that this is a respected forum of old and this account farming issue is pretty concerning, but there do exist some like me I am sure who have joined BCT in the ERC20 token chase. I am very grateful that I got the airdrop amount, which I had been following for a while but missed last time. For what its worth, I promise to reply with this account in 10 years time if I stay alive that long.

To give you an idea on staking, so far I'm staking an average of 0.023% every 2 days. That's about 50% lower than the promised 10% per year, but it's early and will likely improve.
As an example, if you have 200 coins, at 10% yearly compound interest you should end up with 221.03 coins, although it may be less because I believe you can only stake full coins (correct me if I'm wrong).
At today's market value, that's an extra $14.30 per year on $136.00 worth of coins.
It's nice to see the value hold after the pump yesterday. Typically the dump would have been in full effect by now.
Really looking for a strong whitepaper to shift this coin's value from the community to the technology.

You've all had a start on this, no one has been born a veteran in bitcointalk. It saddens me to see that the spirit of e-currency is stained with attitudes of raptors but in the world of money is very understandable, winnings come first.
However, dev could specify that accounts made after a certain date do not enter the airdrop, is their currency and their rules.
I don't know how but I hope dev can somehow verify if there are double accounts.
Would sincerely like to bounce some coins in my wallet but I will not cry if they don't arrive, my plans were not based on free coins.
This is my first message and I don't speak English so I hope that you will keep the idea, not grammatical mistakes.

wtf is wrong with these ppl, i always read the same questions/phrases/concerns..nobody seems to read the posts, everybody asking for free coins, i also registered here to participate and get the airdrop (no i dont have more then 1 account). but stop this annoying "where are my coins???" this is not a fkn lamborghini-airdrop, just wait for your coins! if you dont receive them, then go buy some like everybody else did who believe in this coin!
i dont care if i dont get coins, since yesterday i keep buying ETHD, its still the best way to get them.
