We have been working to hype up some excitement about GLDCoins on the BTC-Exchange. I currently see an exchange as the number one requirement in order to help the success of GLDCoins. As a result, I feel like in this thread we should post all the rewards we are donating towards a GLDCoin exchange until it reaches high enough that someone does it.
Please note that while we are trying to get the price of GLDCoins to 1LTC/100 GLD ($0.03/each~), the price is currently hovering at around 1LTC/1000GLD or ($0.003/each~). Feel free to assume the value in either, I will write in both.
*Please note: you will need to message these individual people to get your reward.
Creator Reward: 30,000 for creation + 30,000 for 1 reliable week of operation: Total = 60,000 GLD ($1800.00 based on goal price, or $180.00 based on current price).
BitshireHashaway: 10,000 for creation: Total = 10,000 GLD ($300.00 based on goal price, or $30.00 based on current price)
thekidcoin: 30,000 for creation + 30,000 for 1 reliable week of operation: Total = 60,000 ($1800.00 based on goal price, or $180.00 based on current price)
kr4x: 100,000 for creation: Total = 100,000 ($3000.00 based on goal price, or $300.00 based on current price)

You make a good point. However, you also need to realize that 1m+ of those coins have been given away. And I personally don't plan on selling all of mine right away. |

YOU won't be selling for peanuts if you wait for an exchange and the price increases....I said the coin will be worth peanuts once you and all the other guys sitting on literally tens (or hundreds) of thousands of them start dumping them. And they WILL be dumped if you get a sudden price increase if/when it hits a major exchange. |

So when you say "given away"...does that mean "erased from existence"? Cuz if not...those coins are still out there, waiting to be dumped. You might not be planning to sell right away, but I'm sure the majority are...and even some that might be thinking to hold right now will likely dump if the coin gets to a good exchange and the price suddenly jumps. I won't sell my tiny little chunk of 4 THOUSAND coins for peanuts....I'll hold and hope it gets on an exchange with a decent price. But then I'll be dumping...along with many others. I'm not saying this to bash the coin...it is just a reality. |

Nibble is going pretty well right now, just need fancy things like a better logo, a website (easy but need a better logo) and some marketing and most importantly to get it on an exchange to people will want to mine it.
Because after all once someone can readily convert a currency into Bitcoin, there is reason to mine it.
