(I GOT THE ACCOUNT BACK!!!!) Bitcointalk account with the name "Frost" stolen

He can openly confess that he is stealing accounts but yet no admin support here.

And yet over 1000,000 "accounts" don't support you, only support for support (theymos is busy blah blah). Why is that?

It was only when mods here pretended they did not like spam, and multiple accounts, that i looked into it.
I easily cracked the problem.
I published around 1000 farmed accounts, during which time i realised what was really happening.
These 1000(s) of accounts were all created by 1 or 2 people.
Even back then a year ago, i showed how around 50% of active users were "farmed"

I was ignored by admin, fobbed off by mods.
The farmed accounts were clear as day to find. Anyone looking would see them - theymos and admin.
They hated it, and me.

Then, having broken their system, they had to find something else - the "hacked" database.
Old accounts started coming alive/reactivating in their thousands.

I started another thread. I was ignored by theymos and admin.
I explained how easy it was to detect these accounts en masse, and the steps to achieve that detection anytime in the future..
They are still free roam the forum.

I currently try to work off all messages... including a reply to the admin Cyrus. That was my problem here, I have a 360 seconds delay after each message.

Yeah, kinda. That is the first step. I wouldn't be able to sleep if someone else would use my acc to do (who knows) what kind of stuff.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, I guess it shouldn't be a problem to get my acc back. I hope.

Anyway... I didn't believe that the person behind my acc would give in... I value this strongly. It's really cool. I am a bit sad that I did not spot his PM right away, and about this posting delay. It's absolutely impossible that the person had access to my email address. This is most likely a hack due to the leaked bitcointalk database.

Also, as said, there is no address linked to my account. I contacted the new account holder now and referred him to this thread. I'd like to know how he got the account. Probably bought it in the forum from someone who hacked my account.

Again, an admin would just need to set back the email to the address that was used previously.... then I could recover my account. Apart from that, admins could contact the user celeborne, he knows information's about me that the new account user can't know. Also taking a look at the IP's and posts that I mentioned should show that there is something wrong.

That was my initial concern. Once you have gained accessed to any account here in bitcointalk, consider it yours since you can change the email and everything without having to confirm anything externally. If email change would require email verification in this forum that would be great.

That could be one factor. If you haven't changed your password for the last two years (and have a generic one too), there is a large possibility that the hacker gained access by referring to your password salt from 2015 that's still up somewhere online.
