Is $4000 the perfect time to buy

Considering just buying a few bitcoin around $4000. What are your opinions? Should I wait until it drops in September? Will it drop in October because of the hard fork, or will it go up because everyone wants to get their share of the fork coin? Will whales push the price down in September so they can accumulate it cheaper?

Personally yes, because I believe the real price of bitcoin is always above $4,000. If the bitcoin price decrease below $4,000 like the last time happened when China banned ICOs and bitcoin exchanges, the price fall to $3,330 and that was the best time to buy bitcoins. My point is if the price below $4,000 go buy it, that's it.

It fall much lower that $3300 when all the news come out from China. It dip to $2900, which is the best buying point at that time. But since bitcoin have recovered already, its really hard to see that price again. Unless another waves of negative news will surfaced once more. If you want to get bitcoin at a discount price, then you have to wait again.

I think now isn't the best time to buy despite the price being fairly stable. When we reach the end of the month the price will either shoot up or fall towards 3k again. I think probably it will be upwards because a few things have indicated good news from China but we shall see.

Yes that true you should wait for the right time to buy a lower price than that .. Cause bitcoin always volatile what if when you buy now and it will suddenly fall again in a deeper value? We'll thats not good decision for me.as of now bitcoin is gaining more strength but there's a possibility that its volatility will happen again . .so I suggest  to wait be patience and get the right price to buy to gain more profit in the future such as making investment in a long term.or trade sell in a high price when bitcoin rocketed in this year end.

Someone said something similar on this thread once and came back crying he missed the chance of buying bitcoin at a very cheap rate hoping it will come down again. That was early this year. The thing is if you have your cash, you can buy, if possible you can leave maybe some certain percentage to buy later incase a dip eventually occurs.

This way, at least you balance the risk of not buying now and ending up buying at a much higher price is bitcoin ends up showing its bullish tendency.

This market moves in the exact opposite direction of what we think will happen most of the times, and this situation isn't any different. People are better off just using a certain part (let's say 50% at most) of their capital to buy at current levels, and have the rest aside for when the price goes down. If the price happens to go up, you'll have coins already. If the price happens to go down, you'll have enough fiat aside that you can use to increase your holdings -- it's just a matter of logical thinking

I don't think that price will fall to that lower level now as it has started to increase once again and may we now our wait will over to see the price of $5000 so if you have excess money then you can buy it even now as price is likely to increase in coming days too but if you believe that price will drop down back to $4000 then better to wait for some days and see how price behaves.

What is the reason make you have this opinion? I heard other traders said Bitcoin will recover in this month and it will increase more, do not stop at $5,000 is highest price. Even if the momentum from September till strong and enough to pass supply on the market, it can reaches to $6,000 or high more.

$4000 is fair enough but a little bit risky to take because if you look into the board when bitcoin suddenly crash it almost hit lower than $3700 for me the best time to buy bitcoin is when the value is $3500 that would be a safe zone for your investment I think bitcoin will not drop lower than $3500.

Each and every price of bitcoin is perfect to buy. So looking at the current value of bitcoin, one who bought at $4000 feels happy of making a profit of more than $500 in less time. Buying at $4k I still think it's a good time to buy, but if the price has already exceeded $4.5k as it is today, I'm a bit worried about buying. This is not the right time because bitcoin is going increase if we hold our bitcoin then we can get many things if we are not holding bitcoins then we will lose such a goal of bitcoin so we should hold bitcoin for a while.

Actually as a bitcoin user its really hard to decide when it comes on buying and selling because of the very volatile price of bitcoin. I think you as the investor, you should do some research  that will help you to decide. Because it hard if we just wait, and nothing happen. You really need to be wise on deciding for your investment.

Yes $4000 is a good price to buy but this will take some time for you to buy in that amount because bitcoin price is playing in $5600 to $5800 so if this will have a major crash it will just go down a little bit in $4800. So the least you can do now is if you have some bitcoin now, just hold it for now and get a profit afterwards.

This thread was made last August 21, when the prices of bitcoins were only around $4000-4500. Considering OP that you listened to the sets of advice given by profound individuals here, then you would probably noticed by now the profit you gained after 2 months of waiting. Soon, another thread will ask the same question about buying bitcoins today (since 1 btc = $5500 usd) and the answer is obvious, it is never too late to buy bitcoins in garnering profit in the long run. Bitcoin prices can never be accurately predicted, but can only be speculated by considering other factors.
