Hello,

so a couple weeks ago I downloaded a android wallet. Sent some miota from bitfinex to the wallet to test it out and it showed up within a minute which was great. Next day it showed a zero balance, then a couple days later the balance was there, now showing zero balance again. Is there any explanation for this and maybe a simple remedy to fix it? I tried generating new addresses which a few others have suggested but this has not fixed the problem. I also went through Mobile wallet video for help but did not find any help.
Quite likely a big turnoff for anyone looking into Iota, but I understand the developers are probably well aware of this issue and are hard at work(hopefully).

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Could it be doing a sync. I used a mobile wallet once so I'm not an expert but everytime I use it it always took a lot of time to sync my coins which it's why I stopped using it.It also didn't show my balance but i was able to see my private keys or my wallet qr code while in progress of sync.Maybe that is your problem? I also found something like this hope it helps : https://www.reddit.com/r/Iota/comments/6sq6tq/help_iota_wallet_shows_0_balance/

Since you are talking about iota wallet then for sure the main problem is on their wallet itself. If you do see about popping out balance and got disappear for sometime.I do believe its just a visual bug or your wallet keeps syncing anytime you do check that it show 0 balance. If this problem still occurs and continue then the best thing to do is to contact the devs of such wallet.Theres nothing to worry since you do have still your coins and wont go anywhere even it show 0 balance.
