OLD THREAD

Apparently, the old team has left the development of the coin (at least one member has, not sure about the others? please post here guys!) and asked if anyone wanted to take the development over.
Well, here I am.

So here is the "short-term roadmap"

New site is up:  http://c-bit.me
I am currently working on the android wallet. The one currently on the play store has quite a few bugs and shares the same package name with coinomi wallet. So if you already have it installed on your phone, you will get error 505 (permission conflict).

I am rebuilding that starting from the source posted here: https://travis-ci.org/c-bit/c-bit
Once that is completed I will work on porting the wallet to Mac (based on the desktop wallet source).
Then we will see where to go.

Just to be very clear: I do not know how much time I can put into this, so the releases will happen "as soon as they are ready".
ANY HELP IS MORE THAN WELCOME.

I'd hate to see this coin die as the project was really interesting.

If the old devs/team want to help, join, insult, have a beer together, please do so.

POOLS

URLNOTES
http://minerpools.us:8080/I have added ports for low difficulty and high difficulty on minerpools.us:8080
Low difficulty should only be used for less than 100GH.
stratum+tcp://minerpools.us:3531 -u "Your C-Bit Address" -p x
Normal difficulty should be used for most mining. Will not work reliably for Nicehash!
stratum+tcp://minerpools.us:3532 -u "Your C-Bit Address" -p x
High difficulty should be used for greater than 50TH.
Should work well with Nicehash!
stratum+tcp://minerpools.us:3533 -u "Your C-Bit Address" -p x
All ports are configured for varr-diff to optimize miner operation once mining has started.
The pool is still running without any fees, so it is as good as solo mining!

Thanks for taking this over.

Please include the relevant information from old thread too. Pools, exchanges, reddit, downloads and more.

Someone should build a counterparty for XCT. Use it to create assets that are feeshares for btc and altcoin mining ventures (small scale ones) We would get some cheap fees for transferring assets Smiley

I do not have control over that forum. The site i put up is an entire new site on a different server.

On other news, the android app is coming along nicely. I will release an initial version with reduced functionality as soon as I fix a couple of bugs.

I found the forum http://xct-cbits.com/forum/index.php as unnecessary. Can you remove it from coinmarketcap.com?

An excellent upgrade and change, it does not seem to want all users to experience inconvenience.
Good luck team and hopefully stay successful without a hitch!
