Here in our place if you can't pay the first bill, your line will be cut. You need to pay it ahead of time if you don't want head aches!
So cruel they are!

Mining here is kinda costly.

yeah, mining is less worth getting involved in as time passes

it's very competitive and people hardly make any $$ nowadays unless the price skyrockets.. just get into trading to make some cash

the future of mining is questionable, there are many other "eco friendly" ways to maintain blockchains
Proof-of-Stake for example has been adopted recently by various projects, Ethereum hybrid POS is underway as well

What's the electricity cost per kw/h in your part of world?
It's 10-15 cents here and is quite affordable.

Not too bad where I live. Only $0.11 plus tax per kwh. And during the half year winter, the mining rig is basically an electrical space heater that also generates crypto coins.

I guess prepaid utilities might be necessary in countries where there is no well established consumer credit score system?

In September of this year Saudi Arabia will begin construction of two power stations – solar and wind, with a total capacity of 700 MW. According to forecasts of the Minister of energy of Saudi Arabia Khalid al-falikha, the cost of electricity will be at the level of the lowest in the world.

Then it's not a good investment to mine in your country. I think it's better to invest your money on good internet and data with a phone and start doing campaigns from what I'm reading here. Thr pay's good enough.

Here in our place. If I didn't pay our electricity in 2 months then our electricity will cut. And I think that is reasonable because they already gave us 2months and that is enough. But yeah, we also have a high amount of electricity. Maybe you should seek some other place for you to live that has a small amount of electricity. Always check if you are just the one who are using that power of electricity.

Get a small Kabota diesel. Attach a generator, or get a Kabota diesel generator pack. Add a number of turbo-chargers in series. This will increase the compression pressure, which will increase the power stroke pressure, which will give you more power cheaper. Add deep cycle batteries and an inverter/transformer.

Cool

It may be worthwhile to build a solar power station and mining in the desert Cheesy

But honestly I think PoW is too primitive algo. it's good to find something better. More effective.

Same here in our country, because here in our country it is not handled by the government rather by a company wish that there would be another company here so that there will be competition or they could build nuclear power plants here because most of your politicians are against it.
