Hi All,

Greetings from Singapore.

Do you all discover that Securities based ICOs (i.e. ICO that would be regulated by SEC / MAS in Singapore) generally all have bad returns.

Compared to non Securities based ICOs (like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc) they perform better.

The point of cryptocurrency is to control your own money. Regulation only adds negativity as it defeats the purpose of crypto to begin with...

Almost every single ICO has made the claim that they are not securities and thus do not need to be regulated by the SEC. The SEC has not provided any insight beyond their analysis of the DAO token. The DAO was a decentralized investment firm, and pretty clearly a security. While it may have come as a surprise that the SEC was investigating the DAO, I don't think anyone was honestly surprised by their findings. So, there's no official answer to your question. No other ICOs have been deemed a security or not a security - only time will tell what happens next.

But not at all, some securities based ico already showed a great move by the way. But ethereum and the fact that all of the crypto assets is a security. But some are claiming if the asset just like a share for the holders.
I remember the bittrex will not add the token that considerable as a security.

Regulated or not, it's project depending.
If project sucks, you will lost your money.
But for me regulated ICOs are much more limited from action and have much more expenses on bureaucracy and other bureaucracy stuff.

Ethereum is not a Securities. By virtue of Howey Test, Ethereum does not fulfil even 1 condition of being a Securities.

True, if the project sucks, the project sucks. This is true of a cryptocurrency or an ICO token. However, often times there are "dead" coins (even ones with no development for 1-2 years) that have major price pumps. One positive thing about cryptocurrencies vs. tokens is that their value is based on economic activity, not just the roadmaps and plans of ICO administrators.

I don't really understand what you trying to say here but you want to compare the ICO basics or the platforms on which they are based. According to you they will decide the ultimate fate of ICO whether it is going to be successful or not. First of all what is SEC/MAS, I don't follow really. But yes bitcoin and Ethereum based investment are always safe that I know completely but not true always. ICO getting successful is really different story in long term agenda. The success doesn't depend on securities or something like that but it depends on the minimum goal which is set up by the ICO during the launch. If they have achieved their milestone of launching the project successfully then they are good to go. Rest looks too fetched.

Can you guide me by telling me which Securities based ICOs are doing well?
