Isn't that the beauty of cryptocurrency? ETH, Ripple and Monero seems to be on a upward curve though!

My only advice, just ride the trend. Market is unpredictable and we don't have ability to predict the exact same thing to happened.

Come on. Doing crypto trades isn't easy as you think. People who earned a lot here not always win in terms of luck. They analyzing the market to win the game. Price decrease is possible since it's impossible that the trend will always be going up. No way it will happen since people are eyeing for the profits. And don't see price decrease as bad happenings. During price decrease it's a big chance for people to buy again at lower price then just wait again for the increase for possible profits.

I think it's called trading. If the market went up constantly, everyone would come here. Then I would not have had to work Smiley

That was a basic thing in trading you need to buy low and sell it when the price is high.. do you think you can make profit if you buy high and sell it for lower price?
so before you can make profit if you buy low you should sell it for the high price... and the movement for example bitcoin the price of bitcoin is not stable anytime soon the price can be increase or down.. depending in demand and supply
In trading if you want to learn better to start to learn how to make your own margin and sell bitcoin as sample 25% if the price was increase today and makes your profit if the price tommorow will increase sell 50% of your bitcoin so that you have a remaining of 25% of bitcoin that you can sell if the price continues to increase in order to make profit..
If not increasing just wait again or if the price is down wait for more cheaper price and buy more bitcoins and do the same if the price increase just sell partially in your bitcoin so that you will not loss opportunity to make profit for every price increase..

That's the problem/nice thing about trading Cryptocurrencies.  Most aren't tied to ANYTHING but a developers dream, and in a lot of cases not even that.  95% of the coins don't have any real purpose aside from being traded.  And most coins "Market Cap" has NOTHING to do with how much has been invested in a coin, and is just a time slice of the last trade vs how many coins are currently available.  They don't actually have anything to do with how much has been invested in the currency.

Which is why they fluctuate soo much.  It is a bad thing in some regards (stress ect), but is great in alot of other ways, and probably why you were pulled into thinking about trading Cryptocurrencies in the first place.  No where else will you find stocks/ect that fluctuate so much.  Many stock market traders think a double digit year increase is a great year.  In the Cryptocurrency world, that can happen in less than a minute.  Aside from a few more base coins (BTC ect) where you can buy and hold and expect a return, most you need to watch closely.

The most important thing to remember though is that they aren't tied to anything.  So NO ONE can tell you if they will go up or down, aside from the whales and pump and dump schemes tossing the prices around.

A lot of price changes seem to be completely unpredictable, and often the lower the marketcap and trading volume the more volatile the coin. But sometimes patterns become quite clear, and with reasons that are clear - for example the June/July dip in the BTC war. Or the huge price increase following the hype when Antshares got rebranded to NEO.

But more often than not price rises and drops are very short-term, and if a coin has been shooting up for a while it's generally a bad idea to buy in as it will dip quickly and you'll be left holding an overpriced coin.

any advice what to do in these cases
Because all cryptocurrency are volatile for the reason that each if its market value depends on the market's demand. And also, it don't have physical value, so change on its price from time to time cannot be avoided. But it happens often, so you don't need to worry. Keep calm, and patiently wait until its value increase again. It won't take long, probably.

Dont trade.
But coins you think have something that no other con have and securely store them and enjoy your time.  In the mean time you can learn about Crypto technologies, or doing whatever you want. some sport, a hobby, ...

Worse thing is if you go spend all day daytrade and half your money.

how to trade is when you can buy in lower price and you sell in high price, its the basic of trading. when we take profit? I think its depend on how much we want to take profit, if we want to take bigger profit then we need to be patience to see the higher price and then we can sell and this is works too with buy back in lower price.

This is how the market works, either the prices go up or down. If you are trading for the long term, patience plays a part.

Keep waiting for it to go up. If not, learn about chart indicators so you can do day trading, but I wouldn't recommend it
