Yep. Do it! We have every other kind of coin imaginable, but they're all limited to this puny craphole planet. Time to take it to the next step and make this one a reality. It needs to be blazin fast, but with fewer coins than BTC. This will ensure maxium value when the entire solar system starts using it in the future, including those water dwellers in Europa. Hell, might as well design some type of client that utilizes a quantum entanglement capable thumb drive to communicate instantly with other clients which would otherwise be unable to communicate in real time to due relativistic communication speed constraints. INSTANT & secure confirmation time, anywhere. Literally. Huge coin improvement. SLC - FTW!!!! This image needs to be in the coin logo somewhere: http://www.nasa.gov/images/content/730032main_aug31-prominence.jpg

What not dial it the other way and have a Texascoin, or even closer to the truth, Bedroomcoin.

In that regard, let's create a QuarkCoin; a coin that is only valid in the local quark its wallet is located closest to.

Texas Coin will be perfect for after we succeed! lmao. Actually, Officecoin would better suit me at the moment, vs bedroom coin. But do need some bedroom coin later.
I like quarkcoin as well. All excellent pump and dump ideas. People would even mine/buy quark coin knowing (perhaps not understanding) it's only valid "in" the quark closet to the wallet file.. which actually affects more than one quark to store... so lets say the allmightly central quark. Anyway, AWESOME.

Solarcoin pppffffff I can see it now. It only takes light years to confirm. Might want to pick a better acronym than SOL though as that's widely known to be Shit Outta Luck LOL!

I think the name Solar coin could be used as a double meaning. Solar system, an 5-75% of all coins mined should go to the coins developer, and be used to fund projects to develope a solar powered mining machine that is easy enough to use to be used by anyone Then once that is made, work on getting into space and colonizing other planets and the moon.

I didn't even realize it until just now, but devcoin has the specs to be a solar system coin, or universe coin. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34586.0
