I heard some news about mtgox having funds seized in relation to Dwolla. Does anybody know if Dwolla is still working for getting USD in and out of mtgox? It is still listed on their webpage as an option.
Just wondering if anybody has tried it.

Its a no go. Dwolla still works with CampBX but there's a 30 day hold on new accounts with drawing

I would not try it. For some reason it still shows up as on option at Mt.Gox, but it the money will not make it to Dwolla. I can't believe Mt.Gox has not yet disabled the option (still available for me as of yesterday).

That stinks... Now it seems like there is no good way to get USD in and out of the system... I'd recommend switching to CampBx or Coinbase. Both are easy to move money in and out. Not sure how long Dwolla will still be available at CampBx, but for now it works great and it is instant unlike at Mt.Gox where there were significant delays.

Not true. Now they have been going around and seizing funds if they suspect you are using your account for P2P bitcoin transactions, happened to myself and another user this morning.

To be fair, it was not a Dwolla issue. They had a court order to seize the funds, it was a problem with Mt.Gox. As long as the exchange follows the rules, then using Dwolla should not be a problem.

Not true. Now they have been going around and seizing funds if they suspect you are using your account for P2P bitcoin transactions, happened to myself and another user this morning. Really? It was Dwolla that seized the funds? That is very different from the Mt.Gox situation.

Dwolla should be able to continue relations with Camp Bx since they are both registered USA companies. Because MtGox never registered with the USA is the reason why Homeland security pinched that relationship. Also, I expect further things to occur since it was clearly a product of an underlying investigation. There are other motives at play here and the buck unfortunately does not stop here. Homeland Security has much bigger mission in play. Catching terrorists is just a small part of their mandate.

Actually, the exchange was not following the laws of the land. There is nothing funny about this. You break financial laws, you get your accounts frozen (unless you're 'too big to fail', which we aren't). It's mostly a reflection of how poorly BTC business are run. If a professional with business sense was running Gox, they would have updated the answers to those questions immediately upon hearing about FinCen regulation changes. I'm paranoid, but even I know this is not 'attacking bitcoin'. It's doing what they always do, enforcing draconian laws. If business owners were more professional, this wouldn't happen. Unfortunately, most business owners are not willing to take the risk on the volatile, infant, BETA, currency that is BTC. There is a reason for this.

I just got off the phone with Dan @ Dwolla after several weeks of them telling me my funds were being returned to my bank account because the seller's account was suspended, they now told me today that the merchant also known as bitcoinranger Greg Matthews took the funds out and I have to after him directly. I would stay away from Dwolla. Moneygram is still the most reliable option to get trading

I'm still working on it. 07:57 - Email Received - Account Suspended, very generic, no details. 07:59 - Email Sent - asked dwolla support for more details 08:47 - Email Received - Funds from my back account are deposited into my Dwolla account are good to go (Mixed signals kids?) 09:14 - Called - support, support put me on hold and after about 2 minutes told me I'd have to forward all questions via email support, it's a Security flag, and that phone support will no longer be able to assist me. I asked about the funds that just cleared from my bank account and was told it's up to Security if they will return them. 1346 - Email Sent - follow up with email support to figure this out
