According to this article https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/21/business/dealbook/phone-hack-bitcoin-virtual-currency.html from the NY Times, "... dozens of prominent people in the (virtual currency) industry acknowledged that they had been victimized in recent months."

What can individuals do to prevent these attacks (or minimize the impact) from happening?
