Are there any other purposes for this coin apart from being airdrop at the moment? So far I think it's only for minting yes?

"PoSToken is just a start of Proof-of-Stake tokens and the PoSTokenStandard will help developers issue more PoS tokens in the future. That's the real purpose of PoSToken. We believe that a new era of Crypto Tokens starts here"

Quote that you find easily at first page  Smiley

Yes, proof od stake tokens can be a breakout technology, I guess many tokens will adopt it in future. Actually I am planning myself a currency right now that I think could benefit introducing this technology in future Smiley

For the moment, we find that a few tokens follow the PoSTokenStandard, such as EtherPower, Accelerator. We believe that more and more tokens will follow the PoSTokenStandard in the near future.

I put together a simple spreadsheet to try all permutations and combinations with the PosToken minting.

Please let me know if it helps.

Wow, great job. It is quite helpful to try different combinations. Every 3 or 6 days seems the most profitable frequencies to mint POSTokens

I mentioned this also in the Telegram chat, but I don't think giving people small amounts of POS will make them want to hold onto them or even remember that they hav some POS after a couple of months. I feel like I'm waisting my time collecting bits of POS. Maybe after a year what I have might be worth about $20. It's not worth my while unless you live in a third world country.

if you think getting some free money from PoSToken is not worth your while, just leave out right away, why do you waste your time again making such a post here.

WOW!! What a GREAT SUNDAY for me minting almost 11 POS this morning!!
Imagine PoSToken value at $5, thats $55 for free and just pressing few clicks!! No giant rigs involved!
My gas fees was 1.8 cents only!! I am really loving this Smiley Wink

Minting postoken is very profitable. This is one of the factors that make me interested to buy some Postoken in exchanges
the current price is cheap and I think when postoken listing in some exchanges the price of postoken up to $ 3 - $ 5
How can I get it right away?
Send 0 POS to yourself

why. Why did you get the pos at this time?
Lolz bro. Its pos from previous airdrops and not the ongoing airdrop.

Never ever use the mint() function, you're losing a lot of your profit. Read here for the explanation: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@mvillar/the-last-guide-to-optimal-postoken-mining
Not really true. I use mint a lot and gas price has never been more than 2 cents. It can look technical at first trial, but once you get it, it's very easy.
Personally I think minting process is actually the trademark and beauty of this PoSToken project.
Just sending pos to yourself looks very basic and common to me, even though it's the easier method.
Anyways the planned postoken wallet will make things easier

I think it takes quite a long time for PoSToken listed in Bittrex.
Trading volume in Etherdelta is very small so expectations are very small to be listed in other markets.

Hi,
I don't understand how mint works, it's completely different than the usual stake method in which you need to leave the wallet open 24/7.
Please, can someone explain me very simple how it works?

Thanks!

Don't mint, just send token to yourself, it's much simpler.

After year they might be worth 20$ - invalid argument, as you are senior member you will get 25 PoS from airdrop. At current price they are worth 30$. A year, what?

So I dont have to execute anything ? If I have a coinage higher then I just have to send a 0 postoken to my wallet and thats all ? If I did that, did I already mint the coin. After that I have to wait again until next coinage higher ? Is this right ?

hello,Dev,any news about new exchange,Etherdelta is not easy to buy or sell Smiley

Aggree. Etherdelta is not newbie friendly and lots of fees are needed to pay for all of the transactions, so many investors/holders of the token are skeptical to buy/sell their tokens in etherdelta.

Still hoping for the next exchange that postoken will be listed on.

Once you get hang of Etherdelta, you will love it xD

I am trying multiple times until it shows Gas fees as 0.001 for 1 mil and gas needed less than 80,000. That's it Wink
Yeah good idea you got there. Also, you should set gas slider in myetherwallet to 1 gwei for minimum possible txn fees

I put together a simple spreadsheet to try all permutations and combinations with the PosToken minting.
Please let me know if it helps.

GOOD Info bro..thanks. It will be helpful for everybody..

Yeah bro you are right. Completely different from the conventional POS mining. In this one, you can be logged out of your wallet, shut down your pc and go ahead with your daily activities. You only need to manually claim your already mined postoken at your convenient time. (Minimum of 3 days wait)

For the moment, we find that a few tokens follow the PoSTokenStandard, such as EtherPower, Accelerator. We believe that more and more tokens will follow the PoSTokenStandard in the near future.
Yeah dev. good one. I saw etherpower some days ago and even participated in the airdrop. Congratz for being the pacesetter!

Is there any date for POSToken wallet? It would be very helpful and it will make things easier...
According to the tech roadmap on OP, it says Multi-PoS-Token Wallet   Q3/2017. Though we are already in 4th quarter but we just need to be patient and give the development team some time. I know all will come good!
