Hello dev, thanks for the brief update. I'm so eager to know how this gonna be like when contract is already deployed. About new acquired postokens, let say ones bought at exchange in the future, does it has to be transferred on a fresh eth address for it to be triggered and benefit from pos? Is it posssible to send those tokens on addy that has postoken already, if so how is it be triggered? Sorry for asking these noob questions or missed reading if any, but kindly tell us little info about these. Thank you.

I am very impressed how Postoken provides an easy way in terms of checking the status of bounty participants.
I think this is a new breakthrough for setting up bounty especially checking the accepted membership status or not

Through Free Airdrop of PoSToken, I am learning the mechanism of Proof of Stake. (and English at the same time)
I am very interested in this mechanism that does not rely on Large power consumption and high-performance computers. Smiley

Hi mightybohemoth,

Let's explain this with a simple example:

Bob has only one ETH address and he received 4 transactions in total:

1.Received 10 PoSToken and held it for 91 days. 91 days is greater than the Max Coinage(90 days), so we use 90 days to calculate coinage: 10*90 = 900 token-days
2.Received 20 PoSToken and held it for 90 days. Coinage: 20*90  = 1800 token-days
3.Received 30 PoSToken and held it for 3 days. Coinage: 30*3 = 90 token-days.
4.Received 40 PoSToken and held it for 2 days. 2 days is less than the Min Coinage(3 days), so the coinage of these 40 PoSToken is zero.

During these days, Bob hasn't spent his token. Then we say that Bob has accumulated 1900+800+90 = 2790 token-days of CoinAge and if Bob start pos mining right now, he will get 2790*1/365 = 7.64 POS.
Now it's easy to understand, right?

the math is easy to follow, but how does Bob start pos mining?
for most pos coins you simply unlock you're wallet and the posminer starts afaik eth doesn't have a posminer in its code so this is the bit that I'm interested in (no pun intended Cheesy)

Yes its clear dev, thank you so much I really appreciate the efforts of making such good examples. I know not only me but others here in the community now got an idea on how to take advantage of the coins that we can receive. Others really should not miss their spot on this airdrop opportunity!

Great Project. First POS, I joined the airdrop!

A question: I saw the rules for airdrop "Just follow us on Twitter @PoSToken and retweet this tweet."

I filled in the form and I put a flag on the signature but I just followed twitter, is it ok? Or have I to redo the form?

The idea is very interesting. I begin to suspect that you are cooperating with the Vitalik Buterin on his behalf Metropolis  Smiley
