They had a good support for community. Best chance is to Pm dev about your situations until tokens are not yet for distribution. See post # 2110 and #2062, twitter and ref link problems fixed. I think the team is very approachable and they can manually fix it.

No one can register with your Bitcointalk ID unless he has access to modify your Bitcointalk profile and put his ETH address in location field.
But anyway, PM us and we will check for you.

How to find Bitcointalk user id:
1. Login to your Bitcointalk Account
2. Go to : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile
3. Click on Account Related Settings in left side on your profile page.
4. It will go to link something like : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=XXXXXXX;sa=account
5. XXXXXXX is your Bitcointalk user ID
