BTC is an alt that doesn't agree with the Satoshi White Paper.  It is a radical departure from the system Satoshi defined.  Bitcoin Cash very nearly agrees with the white paper.  

Why do we need it?  Well, it doesn't have 67,000 stuck transactions and high fees like BTC does.  That is two reasons.  Want more?

The "longest chain" is measured in blocks weighted by difficulty. There are several chains with more blocks than Bitcoin.

But those chains don't have a common genesis block and fork with the other prong.  Long chain is unimportant.  Longest chain after a fork with the shared history is everything. 

This weighted by difficulty is bullshit.  Where does it say that?  That might be what it should say.  But that is not what it says.

Being long chain doesn't mean bitcoincash or any other bitcoin clone will be bitcoin.

This weighted by difficulty is bullshit.  Where does it say that?  That might be what it should say.  But that is not what it says.

I'm not sure what you mean by "that is not what it says" because that is what the nodes check.

Anyway, think about it. If it is not weighted by difficulty, then it would be trivial for somebody to create a longer chain where the difficulty is always 1.

It is radical, because it thinks out of the box. Satoshi was not perfect and you could see that from his original code. {it was

sloppy} ....most of it was replaced or improved by people like Gavin. The "White Paper" was the beginning and not the end

of all code that can be done to improve it. When Satoshi left, he gave Bitcoin to the world and developers have to compete

to come up with the best code to improve his concept/idea and the people then decide what they want to run. People tend to

follow Satoshi as if he was some Biblical God and the White paper the " The Ten Commandments "

In about 3 hours, the Bitcoin Cash difficulty will adjust and it will go up by a factor of 4!

At that point, most miners will switch back to Bitcoin, where the profit will be higher, and Bitcoin Cash will be back to multi-hour blocks for a while.

So, if you want to do any Bitcoin Cash transactions, you had better do them now.
