Of course it's Poloniex. Because it is located in the United States, and is subject to US legalization. Therefore, your coins are protected. But Yobit is not clear where their office is, in what country.

I've never used Yobit personally so I can't really say much about it. Along the road I've hear mixed opinions on Yobit so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Poloniex on the other hand. I have used this exchange on multiple occasions and at first I was satisfied. It did what it had to but as crypto got more and more attention the site had to deal with serious server issues which resulted in repetetive lagg and trouble placing orders. As of recently a lot of bad news has been coming out which resulted in me ultimately taking all my assets of the exchange.

I've never used Yobit but heard its not bad at all, Poloniex I would stay far away from, users waiting weeks for withdrawal and sometimes its not even certain a withdrawal can be made, I think Poloniex will be screwing people up on short term, they just changed their policy about suing them, why out of a sudden would you do that? why out of a sudden big investors cannot withdrawal their cryptos ? definetely something fishy going on about Poloniex, stay far away from it!

I'm currently trading on the Yobit exchange, and I really like it. Very convenient design and functionality. This is the most convenient exchange I've tried.
On Poloniex  I registered, but I did not like it there

Yobit was good before. I used to do small trades in Yobit before a year or so, but they charged a lot of fees for transactions even at that time, so i don't know if what they charge now, and i don't know if they are good anymore or not for trading as i haven't tried them recently. About Poloniex, i have never traded there though i have an account, but people mostly praise their services.

Yobit is good, a lot of coins but it is not well maintained. Some coins that does not have support anymore still exists on their list causing customer complains. Poloniex is better but there were some complains about them lately too. If I am to choose between the two, I will choose polo.

Poloniex is far better than yobit if you want to trade some legit altcoins with great trading volume but based on support system they have both can be ranked at same position because both of them don't respond to any of the support ticket for months.

I am using both, yobit to cashout my bitcoin into perfectmoney and poloniex to trade few alts for bitcoin. I am doing most of my trades with bittrex you should try them instead of this yobit and poloniex.

The obvious answer is Poloniex. Yobit is irrelevant these days when you have huge exchanges (such as Poloniex) dominating the market.

This belongs in the Exchanges section.  You should move it there.

Both YoBit and Poloniex are terrible.  YoBit doesn't actually have enough of the smaller coins, and it runs a very suspicious investment scheme called Invest Box.

Poloniex has had extremely slow withdrawals and has practically no support staff.  Having removed the trollbox they're now barely accountable for their actions.  They've also been having worse service at suspicious times when the price jumps significantly - they could be engaging in insider trading.

Poloniex is my daily trading platform so I withdraw everyday when I win in trading. So far the maximum time I have waited for a withdrawal is about 10 minutes. I see many other people complain about them but I don't see where their flaws are for the moment.
I don't know much about Yobit as I have never used them.

I'm trading with Poloniex and it feels good to me. I think it would be better for Poloniex from Yobit for trading.

I use both frequently. Poloniex is better, it has lower fees to withdraw, margin trading, some base markets not on btc. Yobit is not bad too and has lots of original options, but does not seem as trustworthy.

I prefer poloniex in my opinion. because besides the cheap withdraw fee poloniex also have some feature for trading use (as an example stop limit feature order which is useful to minimize possible losses incurred during trading).

That's true, Yobit doesn't have all the coins and has lower volume, but their support is also working much faster.
For instance, when BCC came out it wasn't added on Polo, only on Yobit and Bittrex, but Bittrex required 20(!) confirmations which used to take 12 hours at the time, while Yobit only 3, which they reduced to 1 a bit later.

Hi bitcointalkers , tell me what do prefer YOBIT or POLONIEX  and why ?
I believe Poloniex should be the best choice due to being legalized. Poloniex is a safe platform, and your money will be safe. I don’t know much about Yobit, because I got there by mistake. The first time I visited the site was by mistakenly clicking on a link. Though I visited several times, but decided to quit because I had no interest.
