Monero for sure. It's the best privacy coin by far.

I'm sure that 2018 will be the best year for monero, so many new amazing features to come(especially Kovri) and Hardware wallets will start supporting it.

i honestly don't know about mining but i like etheueum i think until now etheruem is to be less undervalued i dont have general statistics but i think it is the future of altcoins.

I agree with you ethereum is the best altcoin and i think it will be the best until in the future, i am a solid fan of ethereum because ethereum is more affordable over than bitcoin right now, and holding our ethereum can for long time ca make us also rich in the future, and i am also supporting litecoin because the price of it is starting to increase so for me it has a good future too.

My favorite SHA256 altcoin is Unobtanium (UNO) because of the potential value over time due to limited supply.
My favorite POST altcoin is VeriCoin (VRC) because of the implementation of Proof of Stake over Time, allowing anyone to profitably stake (mint) coins regardless of wallet size.
My favorite POS altcoin is Exclusive Coin (EXCL) because of the potential value over time due to limited supply.
My favorite Platform-based altcoin is STEEM (STEEM) because of the integration of rewarding social media. Kinda like a blockchain version of WordPress.

For me,  there many altcoins have a great value and have a good potential to grow, but the altcoin is the one I like is Ethereum for long term.
The value of Ethereum is rapidly rising and this coin is have great potential to growth and I believe there will give a huge profits.

My favorite altcoin would have to be Eth, because first, it's just under bitcoin in terms of value, second, it's a safe investment if you want to go for long term, and third, the price is rising slow and steady without much fluctuations in the previous months of this year. XVG comes in second for me since it's kind of rising nowadays, and it's also a good investment for altcoins.

2. Less transaction fee as compared to BTC.
