Nexuga
This Whitepaper is meant to be as simple and direct as possible to investors. We hope all Initial Coin Offerings can use this approach to state their short term and long term goals.
Abstract
The fast development of the 21st century is rising rapidly, with new growth in Machine Learning technology in the Artificial Intelligence Industry. However, developers need more computing/processing power for their AI to outperform industry-grade technology if they want to be successful. How do we solve this?
Through a distributed machine learning ledger
A distributed machine learning ledger allows anybody to help AI development projects regardless of their size, and contribute to their resource usages. For example, computer vision programmed by the developers can introduce image or data mining. Qualitative data is of paramount.
For Developers
Many startup projects have wanted to create Artificial Intelligence and machine learning bots but don’t know how to deploy them in such an effective manner that is ethical. Nexuga brings this into a voluntary style AI system where a super AI can be built ethically, and voluntarily. Developers can pay a small sum of Nexuga to the ‘miners’ that will collectively introduce their AI to improve.
Short Term Goal: The Ability of AI Governed Smart Contracts
Our short term goal is to create Artificial Intelligence Governed Smart contracts that can interact off-chain. This simply means a trust less exchange between assets that are not part of the blockchain.
We want to bridge the gap between non-blockchain ‘things’ and blockchain ‘things’.
For example, if you wanted to pay Mike after mowing your lawn, you can’t without smart contracts because the only person that is confirming is you.
However, creating an AI governed smart contract allows the AI to know when Mike has mowed the lawn, thus, triggering a transaction to Mike.
Long Term Goal: The Ability for AI-Powered Cars to utilize Unsupervised Learning on Blockchain Simulation
Our long term effort and ‘dream’ goal is to have an AI powered system for cars that can bounce off from the Nexuga ledger. The aim is to have a simulation for cars to ‘learn’.
The Morality Issue
We are aware of the controversial issue of ‘*who should the car kill?’ problem.* However, we are not the ones to solve this issue. Morality is something that cannot be coded, and we want to keep the sanity and originality of the AI powered cars without any form of blame on us.
Nobody owns this platform, and nobody can be blamed.
Supported types of Machine Learning
We will be supporting the use of all three types of Machine Learning Algorithms in Nexuga.
1. Supervised Learning
2. Unsupervised Learning
3. Reinforcement Learning
Our most prized utility is the Deep Learning Algorithm support in the Nexuga network. They are the most efficient when compared to Artificial Neural Networks. Collaborative Deep Learning can allow the algorithm to utilize such a large amount of computing power to further develop their utilization. This will be semi supervised as the data sets it will be going through aren’t systematically categorized.
Un-Tapped Market
We are based in China, a large and un-tapped market that is only being funded by top position members of the government, or large corporations such as Sequoia. The AI boom is about to unfold in China and we believe Nexuga will be one of those projects.
Artificial Intelligence is the next generation of products and technologies that will be used in the next century. Whether you like it or not. The un-tapped market allows us to have access to cheap resources in such a place like china (chip manufacturing) so we can utilize and incorporate the Nexuga project and boost it’s application into a more sustainable one (machine learning trucks in the future). Cambricon Chips will be a major supplier in this initiative.
Our Team
The CEO of this initiative has split off from from the branch at Cambricon Technologies to present Nexuga
CEO
Dr. Shaoli Liu, is the chief chip architect and the CEO of Nexuga.
He received his Ph.D degree in Computer Sciences from Institute of Computing Technology in 2014 and his B.S. degree from Dept. of Mathematics, Nankai University in 2009.
He then became an assistant professor in Institute of Computing Technologies and joined Cambricon Technologies Beijing in March 2016. He has been working on chip R&D for more than seven years, including first multi-core processor in China (Godson 3) as senior architect, video encoding/decoding IP development in Godson processors as principle architect, the world first deep learning processor as principle architect.
Chief Software (R&D) Director
Dr. Qi Guo, is the chief software R&D director, received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Sciences from Institute of Computing Technology in 2012 and the B.S. degree from Tongji University in 2007.
He joined IBM Lab China as researcher from July 2012 to April 2014, then worked as postdoctoral researcher in Carnegie Mellon University from April 2014 to November 2015. After that, he joined Institute of Computing Technology as associate professor in December 2015 and joined Cambricon Technologies Beijing in March 2016.

Head Core Developer and Communication Director
Dr. Dayin Lee is the head core developer and the communication director. Dr Dayin Lee received the Ph.D. and B.S degree in Computer Sciences from Shenzhen University in 2012. He then worked as an international researcher in the National University of Singapore where he learned English and expanded his knowledge into Machine Learning and Blockchain Technology.
This Whitepaper has been written by Dayin Lee.
The Initial Coin Offering
Like that of an initial public offering, the initial coin offering allows us to raise funds towards the development of our technology. Here is a breakdown of our fund allocation:
- 10% to the team salary
- 25% to aid in the research and development of Cambricon Technologies and their chips
- 50% to aid in the research, and development of Nexuga Blockchain Project
- 15% to aid in the creation of new facilities and fund new research
Our Initial Coin Offering will be held in these Blockchains:
- Ethereum
- Bitcoin
Why not Bitcoin Cash or NEO?
We believe that the original chains are the best chains. We consider Bitcoin Cash to be another attack to the Bitcoin network, and NEO to be a ‘knock-off’ to the Ethereum network.
We strongly support the Ethereum and Bitcoin developers.
It is recommended that you participate in Ethereum.
The Addresses
We are releasing the Addresses ahead of time to mitigate risk
Ethereum
