Was wondering why my post count hasn't gone up yet today I have replied and posted several times now and still it says I am at 14. Is there a reason for this?

Thanks

In an effort to reduce your incentive to spam, the site puts a limit on how fast your activity value can increase.

I suggest reading more and posting less.

Your post count is going up.

You are looking at the activity number.

The activity rating is a function of your posts over time.   You can check the sticky for the exact formula:

You mean your Activity? Your activity count only increases its number by 14 (maximum) in a span of two weeks. That is how much you can gain. This system is made to prevent spammers.

After reading about Activity scores this point still wasn't clear to me. Thanks for the clarification.

Every two weeks, the maximum activity you can make is 14. So before it runs/goes up again you need to finish the two weeks period. Just keep reading, I'm sure you will soon understand everything. And don't burst posting my friend, take your time.

I just view your profile and it said that you have 31 Post and 14 activities, you started August 21 that is monday, this is how it works, Activities will always update every 14th day every tuesday, counting of 14 days will start the day you registered. that is why your activities not updating yet. try to wait until september 18, it will update again.

So how long does it typically take to get to Jr. Member? I understand the difference now thanks for all the help on that. Smiley

And for this to become Jr. Member you need to have 30 activities
Member:          60 activity
Full Member:    120 activity
Sr. Member:      240 activity
Hero:               480 activity
Legendary:       I thing above 700 and up.

Hope you get some ideas here...

It should take a minimum of 5 weeks to reach Jr. Member status if I'm understanding correctly.

Each two week period allows a maximum of 14 activity, so a month gets you to 28 and then I'm assuming the other 2 points can be gained during the following week.
