Now, here is another positive projection on the value of Bitcoin and this time it is coming from a stock market analyst. He is basing his projection to the rise of hedge funds and very deep-pocketed individuals who are interested to put their money in Bitcoin. And many of these individuals are located in Asia.

The founder of Standpoint Research has said that bitcoin can climb to $7,500 after it hit an all-time high over $4,000 recently.

Back in July, stock research analyst Ronnie Moas said that the bitcoin price would reach $5,000 ‘in a few months.’ At the time of the report, the digital currency was trading around $2,600 and, according to Moas, was just beginning to gain traction.

He claimed that because bitcoin is capped at 21 million coins it would increase demand for them, subsequently helping to push its price up. Now, though, in light of bitcoin’s continued dominance, which has seen trading reach $4,400, before dropping back to $4,000, Moas now expects the digital currency to reach $7,500.

All these analysts are now screaming for attention. They do not really understand Bitcoin, otherwise they would have predicted 4-digit prices years ago.

Bitcoin is highly attractive and has enormous future potential because it is decentralized and outside of government control. So 4-digit prices will be nothing, when the global debt crisis and inflation is progressing..

All these analysts are now screaming for attention. They do not really understand Bitcoin, otherwise they would have predicted 4-digit prices years ago.

It's getting annoying seeing a whole lot of people suddenly calling themselves analysts or experts -- where were these attention seekers before the price started to rocket up? I am quite sure that when the price happens to go down again, the same analysts and experts will either keep quiet, or start to adjust their predictions completely. If these lunatics really believe that their predictions have value, then they should put their money where their mouth is, and start buying up as many coins as possible.

Let them calling themselves as analysts, it's better than claim as a bitcoin expert.
At least we could judges their predictions, and $7500 isn't bad at all.
I expect bitcoin could reach $5000-$6000 after segwit be activated and fall down on October or in early November just before hard fork be implemented, but if bitcoin turns out to be over $7000, it's even better.

This is very possible, the problem is when. I think once November stuff settle, then the bitcoin will make a big move, and in december it is possible to hit $7500.

Yeah, everyone now is a bitcoin expert, I think we should put a poll or something about those market analyst and their prediction and put a bet and see who will get it correctly or at least a shade on the price this 2017.

Bitcoin is really getting a lot of attention, its still positive and welcome though, even we don't agree or agree with them. And I'm sure that some of them now are into bitcoin and maybe attracting a lot of potential investor to hedge for them and act a a middleman. That is why they are really pushing for bitcoin and making bold prediction about how the price could go here and there in the future.

This projection is way more realistic than those people who projected that bitcoin will hit 1 million USD.  I agree it is just months away to see bitcoin breaking barrier of $5000, $6000, $7000 and eventually hitting $7500.  Development and scaling solution is on its way.  Soon we can see lightning network being implemented to bitcoin and that probably can make bitcoin price skyrocket thus reaching $7500 or more.  Aside from that, the acceptance of more and more countries and trying to legalize it is another reason.

I'm still predicting that the price could go as high as $7000 as well. Segwit2x in November if I'm not mistaken will have a lot of bearing in the prices. If Lighting Network will we push through I think we are closer to hit those prices. Of course we may encountered some blip along the way but once bitcoin become accepted by lots of people and some government really adopt it, Then we can see it breaking $7000. I guess we have to be very optimistic that the November event will really bring us a very positive outcome so that we can continue the momentum in 2018.

The value of publications is a bit more difficult to determine these days. There's a crop of crypto players with sudden riches who have a lot of expendable crypto to invest in marketing and PR. I've seen featherweight startups and ICOs getting the Forbes treatment now, though the quality of articles on even those types of publications is in slight decline. It must still cost a bomb to get a sponsored write-up there.

A daily visit to this forum tells me that there are a lot more founders and CEOs in today's blockchain/crypto scene than there were in the dotcom boom. They each want their 5 seconds in the crypto limelight.

Crypto currency is now in the trend, so I'm not surprised by the increased interest of many people to it. It becomes a part of our life and many people promote their projects in the field of cryptography. Therefore, I will not be surprised if in the near future we see high prices for bitcoin and other currencies

Sure, we know it can, the question is when. There are literally hundreds of predictions online, some by very well known people, like exchange owners or wealthy investors and most of them are predicting $10000 at some point. Some in a year, some in 5 years, so this prediction of $7000 with no timeframe is meaningless.
We know it will happen, but we don't know when. I'm pretty sure in the next 10 years we'll see $10k, but it's a very safe prediction
